Israel Hershkovitz (Hebrew: ישראל הרשקוביץ) is an Israeli anatomist, anthropologist. He is a professor at Tel Aviv University.
Academic career
From 1977 to 1994, Hershkovitz worked as a research assistant, head of field research, and lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was promoted to associate professor in 1994. In 1994, he moved to Tel Aviv University, where he became a full professor and held the chair of anatomy and anthropology until his retirement in 2019.
Hershkovitz runs a laboratory at Tel Aviv University.
