Roger Christopher Thomas FRS (born 2 June 1939 –17 December 2024) was a British physiologist, former Professor of Physiology, Cambridge University from 1996 to 2006.

Thomas was known for his pioneering work on the development of ion-sensitive microelectrodes. He was elected as a member of the Royal Society in 1989.
