The Chamling people are an ethnolinguistic group that belongs to the Kirat family and primarily speaks a Chamling and Nepali language. They mainly reside in the eastern parts of Nepal, as well as in the Indian states of Sikkim and West Bengal, particularly in the Darjeeling and Kalimpong Hills.
