Matthaios Kigalas (Greek: Ματθαίος Κιγάλας) (1600-1654) was a Cypriot priest, scholar and writer.

He edited the first edition of Chortatzis work Erofili, an important work of Cretan Renaissance.

He was the father of scholar and Archbishop of Cyprus, Ilarion Kigalas, as well as scholars Demetrious and Ioannis Kigalas.
