Kraidej Luelert, known as Kasalong, was a Thai anti-monarchy activist and exile based in Laos.

An aide to republican activist Surachai Danwattananusorn, Kraidej was suspected to be a victim of forced disappearance in December 2018.

Activism and exile

Kraidej was a member of Red Siam, a republican faction of the Red Shirts political movement. He fled Thailand after the 2014 Thai military coup, settling in Laos with Surachai Danwattananusorn and Chatcharn Buppawan.

Disappearance and death

On 27 December 2018, Kraidej's mutilated body was found in the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom province, Thailand. His body was later found a day after that of fellow activist Chatcharn Buppawan.
