Henry Kiptiony Kiplagat MBH, OGW is the vice-chancellor of Kabarak University a position he has held since its inception in 2002. He served as the principal at Sacho High School for 6 years and at Moi High School Kabarak for 14 years.

Kiplagat was born in 1966 in Baringo and attended a primary school at Eldama Ravine Constituency. In 1987 to 1989, he studied education at Kenyatta University. In 1992, he obtained a Masters degree in Educational Management at Lancaster University. He received his PhD at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
