Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) of Ethiopia

Introduction The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) is a state-owned corporation in Ethiopia responsible for developing and managing industrial parks. Established in 2014, IPDC plays a central role in the country's industrialization efforts, aiming to attract both foreign and domestic investment and promoting export-oriented manufacturing.

Background IPDC was established by the Council of Ministers Regulation No. 326/2014, with a mandate to foster industrial development in Ethiopia. The corporation’s mission is to build and manage world-class industrial parks to attract investors, accelerate industrialization, create jobs, and increase the country’s export capacity.
