Chinchillas are one of the most beautiful colour varieties of the Persian cat. A Chinchilla Persian cat has a long, silky, white fur with black tipping giving it an elegant and glamorous look. Furthermore, it has dazzling emerald green eyes with black lining. The cute little brick red nose also has a black line and the paws too are black.

Over the past few years a number of determined breeders in Canada, Germany and Denmark have succeeded in rearing Chinchilla Persians to an excellent show quality.
