Domaine Chandon, established in 1973 by Moët et Chandon, was the first French-owned sparkling winery in Napa Valley. Cultivating grapes in the Napa Valley appellations of Carneros, Mt. Veeder and Yountville (where the winey is located), Domaine Chandon crafts a portfolio of methode champenoise sparkling and varietal wines made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, the traditional grapes used in the production of Champagne. A Napa Valley destination, the winery hosts many thousands of guests annually who visit to tour, taste, and enjoy world-class fine dining at étoile Restaurant, the only fine dining establishment located within a working winery in Napa Valley. Winemakers and chefs work in partnership to create a wine and food experience which is rated among the finest culinary experiences in America.
