Gene Ray is the author of several websites, in which he expounds his eccentric views on time, God and reality. He is frequently accused of being a crank. A typical Ray quote is "Time is CUBIC, not linear as stupid educators teach." Ray's Time Cube websites is constantly expanded, resulting in a massive single page. Ray has made comments on the page which appear anti-semistic, though few understand what he is communicating.

In 2002 Ray was invited to speak at MIT.
