Hardcore dancing also known as fight dancing is a type of dance most commonly found at hardcore shows. It consists of a person jumping out into a cleared area, flailing their arms and legs around wildly in punching and kicking motions. It is also common to find hardcore dancers doing backflips, cartwheels and other acrobatics. In many shows there is both a mosh pit and a hardcore clearing, where people can hardcore dance freely, and slamdancers need not worry about being kicked in the face.
