A 3D game is not just limited to video games, however. There is a separate article just for personal computer games, which also applies to 3D games. ∞ΣɛÞ² 19:32, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

A personal computer game is a kind of video game, though, surely? I believe a '3D game' is a kind of 'Video Game'; it even says so on the personal computer game article. And I'm sure the concept of 3D graphics in games is covered in the links within the article, as well as the page for 3D computer graphics. I'm not convinced, but I'll wait for a reply. Video game doesn't even mention 3D graphics, and only "3D art". 3D computer graphics doesn't have "game" anywhere on it except in its infobox as a link to "personal computer game", which does mention "3D graphics", "3D console titles", and "3D games" but there is no section specifically devoted to 3D games, which this article can evolve into (such as what makes up a 3D game, its various game engines, etc). ∞ΣɛÞ² 22:48, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
I see the specifics as being covered by the articles on game development and CG. Correct, the Video Game article only mentions '3D Art' in passing, but it is a vague, all-encompassing article. Its links go on to discuss the specifics, including 3D gameworlds and the techniques used to create them. Others such as History of video games cover the history of 3D graphics in games. Well, if anything, I think the redirect should be to personal computer game and not video game then. ∞ΣɛÞ² 13:05, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Seeing as a personal computer game is a kind of video game (the former even states this), that'd be wrong. The term 3D Game cannot exclusively be applied to games played on a PC. LiamUK 21:50, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Well then video game is going to definitely need a mention of 3D games since that's what most of them are these days... ∞ΣɛÞ² 06:03, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

i think you shold merge them Pteronura brasiliensis 22:17, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Be careful about changing the case of months, as you did in this edit; you inadvertently disabled the category classification. ∞ΣɛÞ² 06:03, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
This looks like consensus. Sort of. I'm making the redirect. LiamUK 20:55, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
