Changes Reverted

I appreciate your efforts on the EC site, but because of the increased vandalism we can't continue to monitor the site all of the time - we do appreciate the efforts of the Misplaced Pages editors, like yourself, that have helped us out. We looked at what other schools are doing -for example, providing an interesting overview or history with a link to their website. I believe all of the content on the site was contributed by us. I would appreciate it if you would revert the content back to my last edits. Thank you, Jcommett

The Endicott page was tagged and we are in the process of trying to update it as requested. Can you let me know how we can go about making changes that are not reverted each time. Thanks— Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.248.117.2 (talkcontribs)

vandalism on necromunda

I do not edit wikipedia posts and I did i would not vandalise them. could you tell me what i supposedly 'vandalised' on the necromunda page??

You've got a dynamic IP address which changes periodically. Someone who had that IP address did vandalise a page here and here, but you got the warning message because your IP address changed. Sorry about this - we can't avoid it. Hut 8.5 19:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Sloppy Revert

Hi there, I see from your user page that you're a serious vandalism fighter. (Thumbs up to that!) Unfortunately, this recent edit did not help things -- it only served to prolong the mess, especially when a subsequent editor carelessly assumed that you had made a clean revert. Whew! Btw, you weren't the first -- a previous editor made the same mistake! (and I just left a note for him/her, too) Anyway, please try to be just a bit more careful, so this sort of thing doesn't happen again in the future. Regards, Cgingold 14:32, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry, its just that he vandalized the Trick Daddy page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.2.205.128 (talkcontribs)

Vandalism to Betaeleven

thanks for your message, this computer is on a multi-user network, so not sure who is doing it, we'll be keeping an eye out. thanks. Jeff

Thank you

Thank you for your welcome message, I've created a few articles (and expanded a couple of others), all related to Captains class frigate - there is a list of articles I have created on my user page. Before I go any further with my little project can you tell me if there is anywhere I can go to get an experienced Wikipedian to look at what I have done and correct any errors I have made in terms of style and stuff?
Thefrood 15:49, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the offer "go though them if you get the time" - if time allows just pick one and let me know what you have done - I should be able to transpose the fixes to the rest of the articles - HMS Affleck (K462) might be the one to go for.
Thefrood 19:47, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Once again thank you - I can see what you have done, I'll update the rest accordingly.

I do not want my page deleted speedily or in any other manor

This web page about David swofford is more accurate than you could ever know. It is not making fun of him or her in any way. Please leave it up. Thank you Hut 8.5. Respectfully your acquaintance - Gemsbok9000

If you delete my page about David swofford i'm just gonna repost it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gemsbok9000 (talkcontribs) 20:08, 6 April 2007 (UTC).

Tom Delay Changes

Vandalism or disclaimer? I appreciate your concern, but I wish to notify the users/visitors of Mr. Delay's page that the page has in fact been edited by Rosie O'Donnell, in personal attacks on him. I am neither a fan or foe of either of those individuals, but I am against misinformation. This story was covered on the well-known Drudge Report. Is it vandalism to warn readers that the content has been written/altered by a critic? That the subject matter's bias is in dispute? Please instruct me how to put a 'this article's fairness is in dispute' warning/disclaimer at the top. If you wish to revert the article, then please revert it back past Ms. O'Donnell's changes as well. I did not alter, remove, or vandalize any of the page. I removed nothing. I inserted a warning, nothing else. Inserting a warning is not unconstructive. Removing it is. Thank you. By the way, I'm a little confused as to how you became the arbiter of fairness on Misplaced Pages? Just curious.Humbleradio 02:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Riana

Thanks for reverting the article. Would you mind reverting the current version also? It's still vandalised; for some reason I feel a little awkward reverting it myself... – Riana 16:09, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! :) – Riana 16:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Hahaha...

Looks like you've been doing this (or is it this? whatever....) for a while. I saw it and was like "wait... where the hell did that come from???" - Bagel7 11:13, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Ok.... I'm confused. What's wrong with the history on that page? - Bagel7 11:18, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

The revert.

Thanks for the revert to my user page. That was quite a nasty vandal that one. Acalamari 16:20, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Basell Polyolefins

Hi Hut 8.5

Personally, I believe, that any commercial entry on Misplaced Pages is advertising. My company (and its predecessor companies) have pioneered the development of polypropylene (polyolefin) from their discovery in the 1950s to the present day - we only seek a presence on Misplaced Pages similar to BASF or ExxonMobile to discuss our history (and future).

Looking forward to hearing from you - thanks.

Kind regards

woooooooops

Thanks for spotting Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Template:Portuguese District Football Associations. I'm moving to the proper forum. I was wondering why the archive templates were purple and not green, as I remembered... I shouldn't do that kind of stuff when I'm tired :) -- lucasbfr 12:37, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Leave off my user page

Whats your obsession with getting it deleted, stop wiki-stalking me. --Boris 1991 09:08, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for leaving a post on the user who vandalized my home page. Much appreciated. Organ123 19:04, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Please help in my article about Petitions.

I have tried and tried to write an acceptable article in wikipedia. I am very frustrated.

Others can make links to their web sites. Why is it mine are considered spam?

Would you look at the article about Direct Democracy in Wiki, where you will see many notations to Sen. Gravel's web site.

How is it he can do this and I cannot, even though I am in support of this man's ideas?

All I want to do here is be able to direct anyone who might be interested to find the Peitition. What is wrong with that? This is NOT a commercial venture for me, but a patriotic voluntary effort to help get the troops home before another 3,000 die senseless deaths.

Please help us.

EndUN Userbox

Hi, you recently participated in the Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/User:DieWeisseRose/Userboxes/EndUN discussion. I have reluctantly submitted the closing statement by User:Tony Sidaway for deletion review. Please consider taking a look at Misplaced Pages:Deletion_review/Log/2007_July_1#User:DieWeisseRose.2FUserboxes.2FEndUN. Thanks. --DieWeisseRose 02:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Jaton

Thanks for the speedy response in relation to the Jaton Corporate attack article. Just testing wikipedia's ability to maintain integrity. It only took a few seconds for the offending article to be identified and deleted. I am not sure whether this was an automated procedure or if it was done manually. So I'm asking. :) Is this the fine work of your automated 'sock puppet', or you?

And by the way, everything I wrote is true... :) I have solid evidence, sadly I will have to find a new way to shut down these guys. Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome and links

Thanks Hut. I've already worked on a few articles and it's rewarding work let me tell you, especially when you come back and find that somebody has improved what you started.

Cheers. Vlad Dracula 01:31, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Parcopresis

You tagged an article for deletion for copyright infringement and it has been deleted. In fact, the article had the "permission" of the website that the material had appeared on, but in any event the content was supplied for inclusion in Misplaced Pages by the original author (who had also supplied it for that site), and so the permission of that site was not even needed.Minician 22:42, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
