State Route 73, also known as SR-73, is a nominally east-west state highway primarily serving the Fort Apache Indian Reservation in eastern Arizona. SR-73 begins at a junction with duplexed U.S. Route 60 / State Route 77 near Carrizo, travels southeast to Fort Apache and Whiteriver, then bends north-northeast until intersecting State Route 260 at Hon Dah.
The original SR-73 traveled from San Carlos to Springerville. The southern segment from San Carlos to Fort Apache was decommissioned and is maintained as Indian Route 9; the northern segment (which gave rise to branches SR-273, SR-373 and SR-473) from Hon Dah to Springerville became part of SR-260 (along with a decomminished branch State Route 173).
Apart from its termini, the current SR-73 intersects no other US or state routes.
Junctions

- State Route 260 (northern/eastern terminus)
