The Martyrs of Uganda are a group of Roman Catholics and Anglicans killed by Mwanga II, ruler of Buganda. They were killed between 1885 and 1887.
James Hannington an Anglican priest was is the Protomartyr of Uganda. When commemorating the Martyrs of Uganda, the Church of England includes Archbishop Janani Luwum, who was martyred in 1977, although he is also commemorated separately on 17 February.
Twenty-two of the martyrs Roman Catholics and were canonized by Pope Paul VI on October 18, 1964. They were:

Their feast day is June 3 in the Roman Catholic Church and Lutheran Church.
