CEZ Group is a conglomerate of 96 companies (including the parent company ČEZ, a.s.), 72 of them in the Czech Republic Czech and 24 foreign firms. It is involved in the electricity generation, distribution, and trade. CEZ Group operates also in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Kosovo, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.
ČEZ, a.s. is an operator of two nuclear power plants - Temelín and Dukovany, 10 coal fired power plants, 12 hydroelectric power stations (including two pumped storage plants) and some other smaller energy sources.
