So Weird was a television series which first aired in January of 1999 and last aired in September of 2001 on Disney Channel, totaling three seasons. The series narrates the story of Molly Phillips, a former rock 'n roll star who abandoned her career after the death of her husband, who was also a musician in her band. Eleven years later, she decides to give her career another chance and travels with her family throughout the USA, playing with a new band.
Her daughter, Fiona (played by Cara Delizia), has much interest in paranormal subjects and seems to attrach such phenomena. Throughout the course of the first two seasons of the series she meets many supernatural creatures. For the third season, a new main character played by Alexz Johnson, Annie Thelen, was introduced, which had characteristics similar to Fiona.
Despite the series' success, it was cancelled by Disney on its 65th episode as is usual with Disney Original series.
