Topics that I edit

Medical schools and medical education. I've been to several countries in Asia and have worked in disaster areas in the Indian subcont. and have a lot of exposure to medical education in the US and in SE Asia.

Biology and other areas relavent to human medicine.

Various articles on science including molecular biology, immunology, neurobiology, and physics.

Islam and related articles; I've taken several graduate courses over the years in Islamic philosophy (e.g. mostly reading and interpretation of hadith and Shia/Sunni comparative analysis) and lived (briefly) in several muslim countries, mostly on medical/humanitarian ventures. I'm mostly interested in discussing the common interpretations and perceptions of Islamic teachings since I'm always amazed at how different they can be from the texts.
