This is a Misplaced Pages user talk page. This is not an encyclopedia article or the talk page for an encyclopedia article. If you find this page on any site other than Misplaced Pages, you are viewing a mirror site. Be aware that the page may be outdated and that the user whom this page is about may have no personal affiliation with any site other than Misplaced Pages. The original talk page is located at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Bencherlite. |
I have a legitimate second account - Bencherlite (AWB) - to keep my AWB editing separate from my main editing. Discussions are archived after 7 days, but you can copy older discussions back to this page if necessary. I will reply on your talk page to messages you leave for me here, unless you tell me otherwise - I know it splits conversations up, but this method does at least generate the "You have new messages" banner for you. Please click on the "+" at the top of the page to leave a message on a new topic, or "edit" to carry on an existing discussion. Thanks.

List of Aston Villa F.C. players
Thankyou for the edits you made to the players article. I think it is the only way to fix the nationalities problem, time consuming to implement (thanks for that) and bulky but it works! Thankyou again! Woodym555 11:42, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Oxford Chancellors
Hi, thanks for identifying Goschen - I did wonder if it was Alison. I've removed Milner - his DNB entry says he died twelve days before he could be installed - see Talk:List of Chancellors of the University of Oxford#Milner. Timrollpickering 14:29, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

H. E. A. Cotton
Sorry, my sources do not mention the years when H. E. A. Cotton was at Jesus College, Oxford. I would love to have The Times obituary, particularly if I can add something to the article from it. His book, Calcutta: Old and New, is extensively quoted or referred to by anybody writing on Calcutta. Regards. - P.K.Niyogi 02:20, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- You may post the obituary on my talk page or talk page of H. E. A. Cotton or send it to me by e-mail - niyogipk@rediffmail.com , Regards - P.K.Niyogi 05:46, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
