I've stated my point of view on the reference to "Birth Of A Nation" over at Talk:Ride_of_the_Valkyries#Birth_Of_A_Nation. Personally I've never felt that a list of contexts in which a piece has been used is very illuminating as regards telling anything about the piece itself.
