You will have to explain this to me - I was threatened as a vandal who would be disciplined when I posted legitimate discussion on someone else's talk page. But I hold others to that same standard (don't post unwanted items to my talk page), and now I am threatened as a vandal for editing my own talk page? Which is it, please? You folks here are funny. You really do have rules that flex and flow to shout down womever you don't like. 214.13.4.151 06:51, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Vandalism warnings

Hi: Welcome to your new identity. I just reverted a change by User:68.229.26.122 and went to their talk page to explain our policies. I found that you had already left Template:Test2 there. I think that that message is a bit harsh for a first offense and prefer to start with the milder Template:Test. Please have a look at Template:Test (if you have not already done so) and consider starting with that one in future. --Theo (Talk) 09:27, 31 May 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll remember that Jtkiefer 23:03, Jun 1, 2005 (UTC)
Also, putting messages to an anon on the User: page is rarely effective; you should put them on the User talk: page. I moved the message you left for 67.176.16.180 to its talk page and also replaced {{test2}} with {{subst:test2}} (using subst: causes the template to be expanded in place, which I prefer to use when warning users so that it's less obvious that you're using a boilerplate). User Help

Context: this information is from a user who asked for my help after I warned him for vandalizing a page since he did not how things work on wikipedia, below is a part of what has been written back and forth on my user talk Jtkiefer 23:16, Jun 3, 2005 (UTC)

OK I'm here. What now? -posted by 209.247.222.116, Jtkiefer 23:21, Jun 3, 2005 (UTC)
what I think is easier than me explaining every little thing to you I suggest you read some of literature that wikipedia has available, I left a blurb on your talk page that has some links for beginner users, also the community portal page (left sidebar) has some cool pages with information for the new user, you might also want to think about registering (information in blurb on your talk page). Thank you

Jtkiefer, this is a bit overdue, but thank you for your support vote on my RFA. I finally have some time to thank all of my supporters, and they deserve it; you're no different. Thank you! Linuxbeak | Talk | Desk 22:55, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

WP:AN/3RR

You're welcome. Next time, try to give the link or diff to the earlier version that the first revert is a revert to, in case it's just a regular edit. SlimVirgin 08:18, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)

CE

No-one talks of the year 1957 CE, they just talk of the year 1957. I'm just tidying up. posted by 195.40.200.222

This guy is vandalizing multiple pages removing CE where it makes no sense. Is there nothing that can be done about him? --Briangotts 02:14, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

hey im the one from that carlos slim helu page...that added extra articles...well i added it and now keep deleting it because you add it again, over and over, because it doesnt look good..the last part doesnt where it starts with "biography" kus instead of being in a paragraph view all the article is in ONE line and you have to scroll to the right SO VERY MUCH to read all of it...can you please fix that? if not you need to delete it, it doesnt look at ALL right that way...anonymous user
