'''The Bridges Network''' is a ] group based in West ], ]. It was founded on the 19th August 2007, after the idea was proposed by a couple of explorer leaders. The idea was taking forward by a group of 6 founding members, these as of 21st August 2007 were voted into the first ever Committee group, who would start up the network. The committee consists of a President, Tresuarer, Secetary, Events Secetary, PR Officer, and Liaisons Officer. It was decided that they would set up a network group serving predominently ] District, in which the values of modern day scouting were kept intact. The name was chosen due to the close proximty to the ] and the ].

The group is based in the garden city of Rosyth, Fife. Although based in Rosyth, the group meet outside of Rosyth- often to take part in joint camps or adventurous activities.

The Committee consists of a President, Tresuarer, Secetary, Events Secetary, PR Officer, and Liaisons Officer. The members holding these positions are yet to be confirmed.

The network being so modern, has a Bebo, Myspace and a Facebook site. As well as the official website, currently under construction.
