Ann Romney(née Davies) (born 1949) is the wife of 2008 United States presidential election candidate Mitt Romney. A stay-at-home mom, Romney raised the family's five boys while her husband pursued his career, first in business and then as governor of Massachusetts.
On May 9, 2007, ABC News reported that Ms. Romney donated $150 to Planned Parenthood in 1994 and that the Mitt Romney presidential campaign had confirmed that donation.
In 1998, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
She is an avid equestrian, having received competitive recognition in dressage events nationwide, including winning the 2006 Gold Medal and 2005 Silver Medal at the Grand Prix level from the United States Dressage Federation
