Turkopedia
Merhaba Cretanforever!
I want to create an encyclopedia on the Wikia website called Turkopedia. It will be in English, and will be all about everything to do with Turkey and Turkish people.
Unfortunately I need at least 20 people (including me, so there's 19 people left) to assist me in this project. Would you like to take part?

Kubadabad Palace
Hi Cretanforever. You are off to such a great start on the article Kubadabad Palace that it may qualify to appear on Misplaced Pages's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- JayHenry 21:11, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Efeler.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Efeler.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Misplaced Pages articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Carl (CBM · talk) 22:49, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use disputed for Image:IraqInternationalFair.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:IraqInternationalFair.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Evil Plot against Alaeddin Keykubad
Thank you for calling our attention to this admittedly bizarre case of identity theft. Imagine the satisfaction of the PKK at striking a blow against both the Turkish oppressor and international capitalism. Ruining the credit score of a “great ruler, great builder, great warrior, and above all, great Turk” was probably a real plus too. Perhaps the MHP should retaliate by opening a bunch of fraudulent accounts under the name Yusuf Selahaddin. That would teach them. Aramgar 19:02, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
