Undertow is a collective of musicians, artists, and managers who share resources and ideas. Undertow started in 1996 in Saint Louis, MO.

The collective grew into a record label, recording studio, artist management, design house, and .

Undertow now operates offices in Saint Louis, MO, Champaign, IL, Los Angeles, CA, Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, Portland, OR, and London UK. Each office is independently operated by members of the collective.

Undertow is Bob Andrews, Molly Chance, Chris Grabau, Adam Klavohn, Jeff Macklin, Chris Metzler, Caleb Palma, and Mark Ray.

The label has released albums by Nadine, Waterloo, Magnolia Summer, ], South San Gabriel, Will Johnson, ], Milton Mapes, Monahans, Artificial Hearts, Christian Kiefer, The Love Experts.

Undertow provides world-wide management for ], ], ], ], Will Johnson, South San Gabriel, Caleb Engstrom, ], Anders Parker, ], ], Headphones, Aaron Robinson, Glossary, Steve Dawson, ].

The ] was a group featuring Mark Eitzel, Vic Chesnutt, Will Johnson, David Bazan, with Scott Danbom. They toured together in the US and Europe during 2006. Each member took turns playing their own songs while being back by the others. There are no plans for another Undertow Orchestra tour.
