In all honesty the baconator makes you absolutely fat. The name itself is enough to make you gain weight. NOT a sandwich to walk down the street eating considering youll be called a fatty with every step. |

It has been suggested that this article be merged into Wendy's. (Discuss) Proposed since August 2007. |
The Baconator is a hamburger sandwich featured at Wendy's restaurants consisting solely of meat, cheese and a bun. Specifically, the sandwich consists of two 1/4 pound beef pattes, two slices of American cheese, six strips of bacon, mayonaise, ketchup, and a bun. It was first introduced in 2007.
On June 18, 2007, Wendy's switched the #4 combo from the Big Bacon Classic to the new "Baconator" in the United States. In all other countries, this burger was made the combo #9.
Commercials for the Baconator features a middle-aged man in a black and white world, wearing the pigtails of the Wendy's logo, which are colored in red--the only area of color in the scene. This technique was previously used in the films Sin City and Schindler's List.
The Baconator is the official burger of the Canadian Football League.
