Talk:Interrealmal Dragonex Association

Regarding edits to Dragon

Thank you for contributing to Misplaced Pages, Gp75motorsports! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Misplaced Pages. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule example\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Misplaced Pages. Please read Misplaced Pages's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Speedy deletion of SPCDCMON.SYS

A tag has been placed on SPCDCMON.SYS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages per CSD a1.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Misplaced Pages criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Od Mishehu 12:45, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of SPCMDCON.SYS

SPCMDCON.SYS, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that SPCMDCON.SYS satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and the Misplaced Pages deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/SPCMDCON.SYS and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of SPCMDCON.SYS during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. NMChico24 13:49, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi, sorry I didn't get to comment in this AfD in time. I didn't see your message until today since I don't actually check my user page that often. If you leave a message on my talk page next time Misplaced Pages will notify me and I'll get to it more quickly. Again sorry about that. What was the page about? Can we add the information somewhere else? Sbacle 14:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

The Dragon on the Bookshelf

No problem. And thank you for creating the page. If you ever need help with some of the more tedious bits and pieces of a page (category sorting, referencing, templates, etc.) don't hesitate to ask. How did you come across this story? Do you read a lot by Harlan Ellison and Robert Silverberg? I've been trying to add to and improve some of the articles on Harlan Ellison's short stories and collections and would love some help and suggestions. Cheers! Sbacle 01:42, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 10:37, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Your recent RfA

I'm sorry, but I've closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you've only got 176 edits on Misplaced Pages; while edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards that they judge RfA candidates by, there was no chance that the RfA was going to pass.

I'm sorry about this, and hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I'm confident that you could possibly run a successful RfA in the future. You may want to consider submitting yourself to Misplaced Pages:Editor review for feedback on where to get some good experience, and when you're ready for RfA again, there's a great Misplaced Pages:Admin coaching program for you to use, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! EVula // talk // // 15:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

The Real Driving Simulator

A tag has been placed on The Real Driving Simulator, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A tag has been placed on Fledgeling+WikiProject+Small+Engines/Members, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Hello, sorry but I believe those pages usually do not go in the Mainspace and are usually part of Misplaced Pages space. Hence, I think you can add it to the W. Project it is related to as a subpage. Hope that helps! Phgao 02:51, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
I can't seem to locate the WP page, but you can move the page or just create it and copy/paste the stuff over! Glad I could help! Phgao 02:57, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Sorry I didnt mean to send you the tag twice! And thanks for moving it! Phgao 03:09, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello Gp75. I moved this to your userspace at the above address, as this didn't belong in the article space. I'm no expert at setting up WikiProjects, but you might want to take a look at Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Council/Proposals.--Kubigula (talk) 03:48, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Why did you warn this user that the account was indefinitely banned from wikipedia? (See your edit). The block that was imposed was only for 24 hours - block log. Y4kk 11:42, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Comment on my talkpage

Replied there.--Isotope23 14:34, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Your request to be alerted whenever Ivana Miličević was not quite appropriate; no one editor owns an article. Your reprimand and threat to have Isotope23 blocked was not quite in the spirit of assuming good faith, either. This edit also was not quite in the spirit of assuming good faith. Remember, most of your fellow editors share your goal of making the article better, and should be treated with kindness and respect. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:06, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
This edit is inappropriate. You do not have the power to ban users. And even if you did, this user is not banned. And you made this edit hours after being warned after making a similar edit. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:06, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Hm. Wonder if it's RickK returned.  :) Probably not, though. Corvus cornix 17:29, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Great idea

Did you know that Misplaced Pages has an editor training program? Some of your recent edits have been a bit off, such as adding block notices to user talk pages, but maybe that's just because you are relatively new here. I recommend you look at that program because it could help you learn how to properly use all of Misplaced Pages's features. Happy editing - Jehochman 11:18, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Jehochman, getting involved in WP:ADOPT would probably be a very good idea (I wish I had thought of that).--Isotope23 12:47, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

UWU

Thankyou for your interset in the Union of Misplaced Pages Users...I was informed that making an account for the purposes of it being a Union, group ex. was against Wiki laws...or something like that. Therefore we are removing the User: U.W.U. page on Monday, October 22nd. However we do plan on having something like an Alliance to ensure accuracy in articles. We (me and User: Greenwood1010) will contact you soon (most likely on friday or monday) Thankyou! --King of Nepal 13:00, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

New Group??

Are you forming a new group? We can still work togather with out a page1 Rush me info about this new group. Are you taking over the UWU? I resigned as Chairman today...you have to talk to User: Greenwood1010 he is the new chairman. Thanks --King of Nepal 13:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

What is going on?

I am the Chairman of the Union of Misplaced Pages Users and I go to the uwu page and see that some one is claiming to be in charge of the uwu and says that I am vice-president...of my own group of which i am chairman? What is going on here? Please contact me right away!User: Greenwood1010 —Preceding comment was added at 13:51, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Chairman Greenwood

If you want to relocate it and all that...fine. It's just taht you should have let me know, or did you think my friend, User: King of Nepal was still chairman? Anyhow I am incharge of UWU and your renaming of the group does not change that...however give me a day to think, I like your ideas...please drop by and leave me a message of your plans...BUT I AM IN CHARGE... however I do need a Vice-Chaiman, interseted? User: Greenwood1010 —Preceding comment was added at 13:57, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Greetings from Nepal

Hello, I see that Greenwood contacted you. Hope all is going well. I have to log out, but keep up the goog work. I will get in touch with you on monday, around 10 a.m. ok well just make sure that the group does not break any of Misplaced Pages's laws ok!? ByeUser: King of Nepal —Preceding comment was added at 14:03, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

ok

Ok then, it all sounds very confusing. One request however, is there anyway that we can stop using the User: UWU page, from what i've heard using a username for somthing like this is against wikipedia's laws. can we move the alliance to another page/link (forgive me I'm not good with "computer talk") Anyhow you seem to know what you are doing. It is just that the user name, User: U.W.U. is one of my personal accounts and I already have one so I'm trying to have it deleted. (it seems both me and King of Nepal are having troble with our signature!! User: greenwood1010 —Preceding comment was added at 14:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Banned

What do you mean it will get us banned, and how do you delete it? Everytime I go to User: U.W.U. your name followed by the WAU show up, conatct me right away. Stop submitting all info. My e-amil is enlightened_wisdom@yahoo.com if have to leave soon so i will have to talk torromow, but i'm still hear untill 10:55am User: U.W.U. AKA User:Greenwood1010

This is what I am going to do

For now I say that we delete all UWU and WUA stuff, then talk later and regroup...did you say that you submitted the WUA stuff to wiki? I am just going to delete all UWU & WUA stuff for now...however I can't remove my account. Did you link User: U.W.U. to your acciount?]

ok2

Ok i won't remove the User:Gp75motorsports/Wikipedia Users' Alliance page. But when you type in User: U.W.U. it takes me to the page with this at top. So ok it's my 2nd account..umm but your in control of it? Anyhow I just hope it all works out, it would be a nine thing: I have a gov idea, i'll post it in a minute:--U.W.U. 14:41, 18 October 2007 (UTC) Government Idea

You seem to know more than I do about how this all works so how about if the WUA is run by a council, but for the most part it only handles judicial type things (expelling members, interviewing those who want to become members ex.) The Chairman (that’s me) will have veto power and overall authority, however the President (you) will be appointed by the Chairman and will handle overall administrative duties (setting up the pages, planning meetings ex.) That is how many companies are run, with a CEO, Chairman, Board of Directors and then an administrative President. Does this sound ok? Anyhow for now it will be me, Chairman, you Vice- Chairman. I have to go in 5 minutes so we will talk tomorrow, around 10 am? Is that ok? Anyhow bye and I look forward to working with you. Keep me up to date and see you tomorrow.--U.W.U. 14:48, 18 October 2007 (UTC) aka User: Greenwood1010

Changes=

I also made some minor changes to the User: U.W.U. page --U.W.U. 14:50, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

UWU

OK, but the problem I foresee is that there already is a Counter-vandalism group... beyond that, giving yourselves titles such as "President" or "Chairman", is likely to be seen as an attempt to create a bureaucracy. Again, I'm simply drawing on my time here observing other such initiatives and by and large they were eventually shut down by the community at large. I'd strongly suggest that you consider joining one of the already existing groups and take up Jehochman's suggestion to participate in WP:ADOPT.--Isotope23 18:44, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

RickK

No, I didn't really think so.  :) Corvus cornix 20:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Reply to Check It!

I don't think that User:RickK is User:Wd3000. But, I haven't confirmed it, yet. If you want, you can place a {{helpme}} on the page, then say RickK is back in the form of Wd3000. I'm not sure whether you'll get in trouble for that, but it's worth a shot... --Goodshoped35110s 03:05, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
