:I haven't misunderstood anything, although I was not aware that you didn't know you were re-uploading the image. I apologise if you thought I was accusing you of being malicious. But you do need to be ''very careful'' about using copyrighted material, and I do find that you tend to be at best rather blasé about it. --] 17:04, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

notice

Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. --78.144.218.241 21:29, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for your comment. I do not understand what you are on about, though. Please give an example. Sometimes, I make multiple edits as I decide later to add something else etc. I also do not want to be told to do this by an anon user! Please create an account if you want to preach to people. Thanks, Dewarw 17:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Anon is referring to the Show preview button to the right of Save page, which is useful if you're likely to be making additional edits immediately - Rothorpe 13:40, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Logos small.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Logos small.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Estádio Elzir Cabral

I considered your request to speedy delete Estádio Elzir Cabral, but I don't think it is appropriate to do so. I'm sure that there are sources, somewhere, that could be used to make this as good as the average sporting venue article, if not better. Admittedly they may be on paper and in Portuguese, but my guess is that they are out there somewhere. Best wishes, Angus McLellan (Talk) 20:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

CrossCountry image

In response to this discussion, I understand that you think that we would have a better article with some pictures in it, and (as I explained there) I appreciate that it is obviously hard to obtain an actual photograph of the Voyager in the new livery. Yes, it probably is harmless to use it, but that doesn't within the copyright laws we have to abide by.

However, re-uploading a previously-deleted image under a new name, as you did, is not a good idea at all, and if done repeatedly could get you blocked. So please don't do that again.

I think you'll just have to be patient and wait for a suitable free image to become available, as one surely will gven enough time. --RFBailey 23:05, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
