Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 1997, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Riksmål and Dano-Norwegian

Please stop reverting my edit to the Riksmål and Dano-Norwegian articles without giving a reason. I have redirected them to the Bokmål article after having incorporated the texts in that article. Thus everything is covered there. If you feel there is a problem with this, please tell what the problem is.

Please see the Misplaced Pages rules for dispute resolution. In particular, note that repeated reverts are forbidden and that discussion is compulsory when disputes arise. Plutix 09:09, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Please do not remove content from Misplaced Pages, as you did to Dance. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please also stop making nonsense edits to Flag of Norway. Valentinian 09:59, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Norwegian language

Please make sure your edits are factually correct. Inge 19:43, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

Somali, Romansh etc.?

Why do you keep listing ISO codes for Somali, Romansh and other languages under Italian language? That article is about Italian language, not about languages spoken in Italy, by Italian citizens, in former Italian colonies and so on. They are mostly covered in List of languages of Italy. Thanks, Goochelaar 10:55, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Tabán

Hi. Thanks for offering a translation of the Hungarian text on this page. However, I don't understand even the English translation. Do you speak Hungarian yourself? Let's work on this together to make it a good translation. Thanks. Cbdorsett 14:42, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Norwegian alphabet

Please stop making edits claiming that Norwegian doesn't contain the letter Y. Last time I checked, both "By" and "Øy" were common Norwegian words. "Fylke" also jumps to mind. Valentinian 20:39, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Misplaced Pages, you will be blocked from editing. Plutix 07:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

And stop editing messages written by others! I've undone your edits to my message above. Valentinian 09:17, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Pages needing translation

Hi. I appreciate your efforts to help out with pages needing translation, but it's probably best to avoid using a machine translator in future. Some of the material you translated came out as gibberish in English. It's always better to leave these pages in the original until a human translator can make an attempt at rendering them accurately in English (or decide they fail Misplaced Pages policies and should be deleted). All the best. --Folantin 08:26, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked for a period of 1 hour from editing in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Angus McLellan (Talk) 09:44, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Latin Asia

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Latin Asia, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.photonicsknowledge.com/search/Latin_Asia. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 20:46, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Stub template on user page

Hi Fiet Nam. I hope you don't mind that I subst'ed the stub template on your user page and removed the category link; I did this so that your page doesn't turn up in a category of articles for editors to expand.

Talk page deletion

Maybe you don't want a talk page but you're getting one anyways. This is essential for other editors to contact you. Pascal.Tesson 20:08, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

What is your agenda?

Why do you repeatedly try to squeeze an "Alemannic alphabet" into Alemannic German? And why do you list these links on you userpage?

-- Matthead      O       07:18, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Erm, just a bit confused by your edits to German language. I assume placing the links at the top of page was a simple error. But the additions to the country codes were a little odd - Norwegian is not a dialect of Modern High German - it's a distant cousin at most. And Finnish and Estonian - well, they're pretty much as unrelated as you can get from German whilst staying on the same continent! (see Finno-Ugric). Anyway, take a look at my edits there, and get in touch if you have queries. Knepflerle 12:48, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Recent edit

Please do not add nonsense to Misplaced Pages, as you did to the Differences between Norwegian Bokmål and Standard Danish page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Inge 09:05, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

User:에멜무지로

Hi, why did you move User:에멜무지로 to User:Emelmujiro? I'm moving it back. --Kjoonlee 20:05, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Redirect of Piriodik tebel (standad)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Piriodik tebel (standad), by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Piriodik tebel (standad) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Piriodik tebel (standad), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
