Chantal Claret (born February 21, 1982 in Berkeley, California, USA) is the lead singer, front woman and composer for the rock, post punk revival and power pop band Morningwood. She was raised in New York city since she was 5, but has recently moved to Los Angeles. She is engaged to Little Jimmy Urine of the band, Mindless Self Indulgence.

She cowrites a monthly advice column in Alternative Press along with Riley Breckenridge, the drummer from Thrice.

In 2002 Claret appeared in the indie cult classic short film by Kolton Lee titled 'American Mod' as Sandy, the opinionated, tough, tomboyish mod.
