WikiProject Music with Place Names
Hello! I realise completely why you have put my article up for deletion, I can assure you that its not a test! and that I do in fact use the sandbox :-)
The categories that I have just started relate to Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Music with Place Names
It is linked (as in associated) to the following pages, which I just added:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/WikiProject_Music_with_Place_Names/Userbox

Can you please help me with signature. I've been told it ought to link back to my user page .... I am a complete newbie as you can see Frances Lynn, author 14:28, 4 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franceslynn (talk • contribs)
(I have deleted my three previous dumb queries - this is my fourth attempt:) I want to start a new article as 'a test on a sub-page of my user page'. Can you please explain how do I do that? Frances Lynn, author 18:42, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Er - found the How do I create a user subpage? article - so shall now study that. Frances Lynn, author 20:27, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
I have followed your instructions re: creating a subpage. I added some text and saved the page ("User:Franceslynn/test") - so shall now write my article (re: Ritz Newspaper) taking my time. I shall ask you for guidance when I need it. Thanks! Frances Lynn, author 09:25, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
I've just re-read your instructions and am not sure I've followed them one hundred per cent correctly.
All I've done is make a red link which says "/test". Is that correct? As I'm witing an article about Ritz Newspaper, do I need to put Ritz Newspaper before "/test"? Frances Lynn, author 09:43, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
(Further to my query) I've now proceeded "/test" with Ritz Newspaper. (/RitzNewspaper /test) If that is not correct, please tell me. Frances Lynn, author 09:57, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

The article ] was previously tagged as an advert by you. The author deleted the tag and ignored you. I have retagged the article and submitted it for deletion. -----Adimovk5 (talk) 03:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Wikibonk
As soon as you have de-'wikibonked' - can you advise me on this please: In the "Ritz Newspaper" article I've created - I would like to ref. Catherine Villiers (in the Gossip section) - I've found this suitable link for her: http://www.allmovieportal.com/m/2006_The_Proposition_about_the_filmmakers.html snag is - as it's a website - don't know how to do the (source) coding for this. Can you advise? Frances Lynn, author 14:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm stuck on this one: I want to edit the Nicholas Haslam Misplaced Pages article. Snag is, I can't work out how to code a source/reference including a quote from an article which has been published on another website. The link is http://www.templeofsaintnick.com/articles/EveningStandard_042106.htm I want to use this for the quote: "I was Warhol's first English friend, there would be a lot more later. I introduced him to David Bailey, Jean Shrimpton and Mick Jagger.__All the lot who stayed with me in New York. __Warhol drew sponges and perfume bottles for us; he was a commercial artist. He was painting the Brillo boxes and my sister was married to Mr Brillo, John Loeb, so that's how we met. __'He made a film in my apartment: Baby Jane Holzer and I doing a version of Kiss. One of his first. Early Sixties. You can see it at MoMA . It's just an endless film of me kissing Baby Jane. __She's still a great friend." The LOAD-DATE: April 21, 2006. The article's title is "Factory Girls". It appeared in the Evening Standard (London), April 21, 2006. SECTION: ES MAG; Pg. 12. The author's name is missing. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated Frances Lynn, author 21:12, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- It's okay ... I'm working it out. Frances Lynn,author 23:30, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have just expanded the Nicholas Haslam page. I did the coding without help. But, on the ref's website's url, - the article didn't have a byline. I found the article's author on another (encyclopedic link) and put it in this reference. So, would this be Misplaced Pages legal? Frances Lynn, author 15:40, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I think you are in error by reverting my edits on Maya Civilization. I reverted past your reversion, further vandalism back to user 70.250.28.140. I had taken out the "Sarah Ann Miles's" crap that you inadvertently restored. I would appreciate if you removed the warning from my user page as it is unwarranted. I understand as we all make mistakes. Happy wiking! Alexf 14:43, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, I want to insert "David Litchfield" in the Rirtz Newspaper article's info box - he is the Designer and Art Director, but when I tried adding this credit for him, it didn't work, so how do I add new info to the box? Frances Lynn, author 09:39, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
