Optical Express (OE) is Europe’s largest provider of the combination of optical services which includes laser eye correction, contact lenses, and spectacles.

The company was started in Scotland the late 1980s by David Moulsdale who still owns and runs the company today.

In 2004, OE acquired a triad of services previously handled by the Boots Group, including dentistry, foot care, and LASIK eye surgery. This made the company the third largest dental services business in the United Kingdom.

Optical Express should not be confused with Optics Express which is scientific journal.
