Nowadays it is a mixed sex school :D :D :D :D, with standard grade and higher results well above the national average and is known for its left of center attitude. Boroughmuir and Gillespie's are said to have a rival so it is said theres always a compitition against each other. These two schools are always playing sports for Example this is how Gillespies has lost against avery games played by the studants at Boroughmuir high school
