Please note that the Indian and Australian plates are together and are not separate. I have added a comment on the picture page but PLEASE change that picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.160.112.134 (talk) 06:32, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

Inquiry

Hi there AzaToth - I'm a reporter from the Los Angeles Times, doing an article on edit and deletion wars on Misplaced Pages. I'd love to have an informal chat with you about these topics if you're interested. Please see HTML comment underneath.

Geonotice

Please excuse that I don't fully understand the technical aspect of this situation, but I just hope you haven't turned off something that was apparently working (at least until recently). Please see Misplaced Pages:Village pump (technical)#What's with geonotice.py?. Thanks.--Pharos (talk) 04:29, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Template:Infobox Holiday

Hi, I'm not sure if you're the right person to talk to but can I ask for the colour associated to Secular to be made something less dour? Something like Electric blue or Mustard would be nice, or if you want to stay with something more neutral maybe Beige. Thanks --Boreas 18:48, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

The Barnstar of Diligence
Don't quite understand the basis of the current discussion about Twinkle, but you deserve many Barnstars for your work on Twinkle alone! Rjd0060 (talk) 00:11, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Hehe, every time twinkle breaks, or gets in the hot air, I get barnstars :) thanks. AzaToth 00:23, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, they are much deserved! - Rjd0060 (talk) 01:26, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Reverted you

Hi. You removed a backlink from the Rationale of the non-free Image:AGirlLikeMe2006.jpg. All rationales must have them (per WP:NFCC:10c), so I added it back. Did you remove it by mistake, or was there a reason that I should know about? I'm currently adding backlinks to a lot of bad rationales, so it would be better to know before hand if there's some reason not to add a backlink. Thanks, Storkk (talk) 16:19, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

I've just noticed, looking at your contribs, that you did this for a large number of them: where User:Polbot had added a link, you reverted. I'll stop re-adding them for a bit, since it seems this can't have been a mistake on your part... but could you explain why, please? --Storkk (talk) 16:23, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
I looked around, and I now assume it's because of this, and the bot's edits were automatically reverted, without regard to their merit. I'll therefore assume that it's ok to add backlinks, and continue to do so. If I'm wrong, please let me know! Thanks, Storkk (talk) 16:40, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Yea, I was asked to help revert a 15k edits by polbot, but I only made around 200 reverts. AzaToth 17:16, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:DeltaSigmaTheta.svg)

Thanks for uploading Image:DeltaSigmaTheta.svg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 14:49, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

re your warning at talk:Giano II

I am surprised that I have to remind such a long time contributor to not to template the regulars. I would also suggest to not make foolish threats as regards "personal attacks" on third parties; Tony Sideway is well able to answer for himself. LessHeard vanU (talk) 17:21, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Twinkle on Ubuntu: partial support?

Hello there AzaToth! First, I would like to thank you for making such a wonderful script. Twinkle has saved me precious seconds when making RFP requests, and since my watchlist is basically comprised of third-grade vandal targets, I've had to submit a lot of requests. Now, on to the problem. I recently installed Ubuntu Linux 7.10 and upon accessing Misplaced Pages, I noticed that the "restore this version", "revert (AGF)", "rollback" and "revert (VANDAL)" links were not above the diffs as usual. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.11. I can still warn users, request page protection (thank goodness) and the like, but those links are mysteriously missing. Thank you in advance and if this in the wrong place, please point me in the correct direction. NF24 17:43, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

it should work just fine, as it's designed around ff. that it's ubunti wouldn't be a difference (my self is using debian). AzaToth 17:54, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Twinkle

Hi. I just tried to install your anti-vandal program, twinkle, per suggestion of "Master of Puppets". However, it hasn't worked. I see no new tabs. I did a hard refresh and everything. I use an old version of Mozilla Firefox. Can you help me out? --Kannie | talk 21:34, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
