This is a list of islands in freshwater lakes, sometimes known as inland islands.
By size
- Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron, Canada - 2,766 km² (1,068 sq miles)
- Vozrozhdeniya Island in the Aral Sea, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan - 2,300 km² (888 sq miles). Note that in 2002 the island became a peninsula due to the shrinking of the sea, so may not appear in some reckonings.
