Revision as of 14:03, 18 January 2008
If you wish to contribute to this encyclopedia, please create an account at home and log in with it here.Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.
If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.
Thank you.

This is the IP of a school network, so there are many different people who could be disrupting things on the site. If it's necessary to block a whole school from using the site, then fair enough, but it's no fair that a whole school of people should be penalised because a few of the users are morons. (Condensed anon edit) |
Perhaps responsible students using this IP would like to help fix the vandal edits? If you're interested, this is how: click "User contributions" in the left-hand sidebar of this page to see a list of the edits. Go for the new ones, older edits will probably already have been reverted. Click on the "diff" button of an edit to see exactly what was changed in the article. If it was inappropriate, and is still the "Current revision", click on the previous "Revision as of time/date/month/year" link. You are now seeing the last good version of the article. Just save. Vandalism gone. :-) Oh, and please write in the edit summary that you're reverting vandalism! Bishonen 13:58, 14 July 2005 (UTC) |

Blocked
Blocked for a year. Nick 10:52, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
i know who was doing the vandalism from our schools ip.
Hello, i see you blocked our school ip, well i would just like to say i know who was doing the vandalism. He is not the one suffering becuase you blocked our ip from creating accounts and editing, it is the people who actually want an account and want to contribute constructivly who suffer. He is not going to stop because you blocked our ip, he just uses one of the many online proxy sites that are not blocked at our school so he can vandalise your site.
The ip you blocked is 62.253.219.130 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamez21 (talk • contribs) 11:14, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).62.253.219.130 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
inadequate warning
Decline reason:
reason — Au contraire. This IP has been warned quite adequately, and progressivly stringent blocks have been applied. No one seemed to take heed of any of these warnings. A year block is appropriate given the HUGE volume of problem edits by this IP.
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
