==Armenians collage==
Hey, I'm thinking of creating a new collage for the ] article, like the one on the ] and ] articles. Based on the discussion on the talk page plus the present assortment of small images in the ethnic box, I think that the following individuals should be included:
Row one (left to right):
*], obviously | |||
*], inventor of the Armenian alphabet
*], monk and theologian
*], 19th century Russian-Armenian painter
Row two (left to right):
*], 19th century Armenian writer
*], Armenian military hero
*], famous Armenian feminist writer (we need a woman)
*], composer | |||
Row three (left to right):
*], Armenian-American writer
*], Soviet Armenian scientist
*], French-Armenian singer
*], World Chess Champion (we need a chess player and he's more recognizable than ])
What do you think? -- ] (]) 22:45, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
:Yes, but Tigran Petrosyan is more Armenian ;) or you could include our current champion ] ] (]) 23:08, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
::In that case, I would prefer Petrosian, just because of he was actually a World Chess Champion. I still think that Kasparov, even though he is more Russified, should be considered. He's all over the news nowadays (here in the West anyway), so he's more recognizable. Anyway, that's just my opinion. I wouldn't mind if we chose Petrosian over Kasparov. -- ] (]) 23:18, 19 January 2008 (UTC) |

Dear Eupator, I wonder if you might be interested in translating into Armenian that brief article related to Armenian historiography? Best, Apcbg (talk) 11:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Dear Eupator, many thanks for your prompt and positive response. A stub for starters would be most appreciated, indeed. Best, Apcbg (talk) 19:34, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Dynasties
Greetings Eupator, I’m currently trying to develop a series of articles on Armenian-Georgian nobility and dynastic intermarriages, but my time is currently very limited and information is frequently conflicting due partly to some ethnocentrist bias in Caucasian historiographies. I was just wondering if you have any info on the dynastic relations between Gregorids and Pahlavuni. I’d also ask you to add an Armenian spelling to the Gregorids article. Thanks, Kober 08:14, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, they both appear to be of Arsacid stock. Thanks anyway,--Kober 08:19, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply on Pahlavunis. I think I can help with Melikovs and Argutinskys. I will need a few days, though.--Kober 19:25, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
