In 2003, the 6th graders (class of '10) won the City Championship with an undefeated season. Then, the same class, went undefeated again as 7th graders, with no close games. Once they turned 8th graders they were craving for their third City Championship trophy. They went undefeated until defeated by Horace Mann High School,
14-12. Both teams were undefeated until that match, but the Bobcats never gave up and made it to the City Championship for the third time in a row, agianst The Horace Mann bearcats. The Bobcats were ferious coming into the game, because of the upset Horace Mann had caused a few games earlier. With a fantastic half-time speech from Coach Mundy, the Bobcats showed no one was good enough to play them. They defeated the bearcats in a blowout of 36-0.

Most of the players have gone to ], some to Parkview High School, and others to Hall High School.

Dunbar Magnet Middle School

Dunbar Gifted & Talented Education International Studies Magnet Middle School is a magnet middle school in Little Rock, Arkansas and administered by the Little Rock School District.

Dunbar is located near the historically famous Little Rock Central High School and is a principal feeder into that school. Both schools are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Since its construction in 1929 and before the Little Rock Integration Crisis of 1957, Dunbar was the site of the Negro School of Industrial Arts, the Paul Laurence Dunbar Junior and Senior High School and Dunbar Junior College. Architecturally, Dunbar is a scaled miniature of Central High.

Currently, all students take a foreign language, and most by 8th grade graduation have taken four. The school is seat to an extensive Gifted and Talented program.
