== Block ==

I have no involvement in the general situation. But no, you do not make aggressive references to throats being cut when talking to other editors. I realize it's serious when an admin blocks an admin, and I have never done so; but this is something else. If you're agitated about something in real life, maybe you need to log off for a few hours, or maybe there's someone you could ping to talk to. Excepting real life upset accidentally spilling over, I can think of no acceptable excuse for posts of this sort. ] (]) 19:23, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
:I strongly endorse. Had I been the first across the threatening remark I doubt I would have been as subtle. ] (]) 19:25, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Mikka, I just wanted to be clear, having said as much on AN/I, that I blocked in part because you don't seem to be in the right personal space to be posting to people. Perhaps there's something going on with you, or some concern on Wiki that's bothering. It wasn't trigger happy, certainly. And I'm willing to talk to you myself, if you'd like to talk. ] (]) 20:57, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
:Marksell, blocking people because ''you'' think they are not "in the right personal space" is very very wrong. Mikka did not threaten to cut an editor's throat, he just used an example by analogy (perhaps not the best choice of an example, but not a direct threat nevertheless). You are not Mikka's mother to make sure he does not cross an invisible line only mothers see. If your only concern was that Mikka wouldn't go beserk on other editors, then your block is completely misplaced. I would strongly urge you to unblock him and apologize as blocks should not be used as preventive measures to keep editors from harming themselves.—] • (]); 21:10, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
::"The right personal space" was a friendly way to term things on user talk, so as to be open to a response from Mikka, if he would like to make one. The full justification of the block is well-described on AN/I, and I don't need to add anything to it. I will leave this page, to avoid secondary complications. Mikka can always contact me on my own talk, when the block expires. ] (]) 21:24, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I believe that any study which would question and deconstruct rather than defend, excuse or accuse various institutions is worth the effort.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

This is outrageous. I demand stipping the blocking admin from his admin rights.

Decline reason:

Your block may or may not be invalid but you need to provide a reason to believe it is invalid. — Yamla (talk) 19:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If Mikkalai leaves further unblock requests, please note that this decline was based solely on lack of reason given to lift the block. It may also be worth seeing the thread on WP:ANI. I expect that Mikkalai will indeed leave another unblock request and the fact that I declined one here should then be absolutely irrelevant. --Yamla (talk) 19:25, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Solemn pledge of muteness

Since[REDACTED] is full of sickos happy to jump to conclusions, and since the adminship is infested with trigger-happy cowboys and wikilawyers, I hereby pledge to not engage in any communication in[REDACTED] whatsoever.

 • P.S. And no I will never stop beating my wife. `'Míkka>t 19:38, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
 • P.P.S. "Normal service" will be resumed when the poisonous atmosphere of witch hunting, militant paranoia, kangaroo courts, and wikilawyering in[REDACTED] will disperse. My pledge did not change my overall respect to the project. I simply no longer want to endanger my editing activities by trigger-happy idiots endorsed by polite formalists. `'Míkka>t 20:14, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
