I'm another editor, and I'd like to intercede on behalf of this blocked editor. Before elaborating further, I'd just like to know if this is the right place to do so. Please let me know if it is, or where the proper place to do so is. I'll wait for a response here. +] (]) 04:14, 22 February 2008 (UTC) | I'm another editor, and I'd like to intercede on behalf of this blocked editor. Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:59, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
This template must be substituted. Replace {{Cfd-notify ...}} with {{subst:Cfd-notify ...}}.

All those little towns in California
Thanks very much for creating all these articles! One thing, though: it will help all of us if you put the names in alphabetical order. Nyttend (talk) 05:30, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm familiar enough with that to know that it can be quite difficult for you. Thanks for doing your best to improve this encyclopedia! Nyttend (talk) 13:11, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
The hizzle
A tag has been placed on The hizzle, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you believe that there is a reason to keep the redirect, you can request that administrators wait a while before deleting it. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Onorem♠Dil 14:08, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- If all you need is some time to source it, try actually finding a source instead of
wastingspending the time to ask questions like "can marijuana be consumed anally"... --Onorem♠Dil 19:24, 14 February 2008 (UTC)- I'm removing the Clinton portion from the disambiguation page per WP:BLP. No 7 days required. Oh, and please see WP:NPA. --Onorem♠Dil 19:33, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- I changed my wording from above. It's still my opinion that it was a waste of time, but that doesn't mean people might not have legitimate interest in the question. --Onorem♠Dil 19:36, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Please stop the personal attacks
Your edit summary here is an unacceptable personal attack - referring to another editor as having "poor cognitive abilities" is unnecessarily offensive. Please stop, we ask that all editors remain civil in their interactions. Unfortunately if you are not able to remain calm and civil in your work with other editors you may be blocked from editing. Thanks, Gwernol 19:52, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
February 2008
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at Purple Haze (marijuana), you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Gwernol 19:54, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Its very easy to see your own contributions in case you forgot what you typed about 4 minutes ago. Simply click on the "User contributions" link on the left and you can see every contribution you made. I was referring specifically to this edit summary, just to be clear. Gwernol 20:02, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. You're right about that edit summary and I have struck this specific warning, although you are still not permitted to make personal attacks, of course. On a different matter, WP:BLP absolutely does apply to your attempted edit to The hizzle (disambiguation), I'm afraid. Please don't add this back unless you have a independent published source for it. Thanks, Gwernol 20:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

AfD notice on HillRaisers
Hi Boomgaylove,
Please do not add the AfD notice back to HillRaisers; I closed the deletion discussion per the procedure for non-admin closures based on the overwhelming consensus to keep. If you disagree with my call, you are welcome to take it to deletion review. Thank you. --jonny-mt 01:56, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Continued personal attacks
With regard to your comments on User talk:Jonny-mt: Please see Misplaced Pages's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Gwernol 12:01, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Telling someone that they need to "get educated" is a clear personal attack. If you are unable to discuss issues in a civil manner and without resorting to personal attacks you will be blocked from editing again and it won't be just for 24 hours this time. Potrero Hills has been protected
Hi Boomgaylove,
Given the ongoing edit war at Potrero Hills, I requested that the page be protected. User:E has since granted that request, and so I suggest you use the interim to hammer out a compromise over the capitalization question. Thanks. --jonny-mt 09:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism warnings
Hi, the recent edit you made to Misplaced Pages:Reference desk/Archives/Language/2008 February 14 has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 01:55, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
The recent edit you made to Víctor Castro constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 01:59, 19 February 2008 (UTC))
- Well you just added biological warefare randomly on the first one (that's why it was reverted). On the second one, I changed the title of the page (so it now has an accent). - Milk's Favorite Cookie 02:06, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Luís Antonio Argüello. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 02:28, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Mistake there :( - Milk's Favorite Cookie 02:37, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Just as a note, I've been reviewing the edits of this user (who also appears to edit as User talk:71.142.64.177, an IP that has also been blocked recently) for the past few minutes. I can't say that I would call any of this vandalism. It seems to be enthusiastic but occasionally odd editing, in the middle of a bunch of useful contributions. So I'm confused. Wikidemo (talk) 02:39, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Matt Sanchez
Just FYI, if you haven't yet, take a read-through on Matt Sanchez's talk page. Edits to that article should be done with care. Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 03:13, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have a problem with any of your edits, though I've removed the "and porn actor" you added, and I replaced the name of the award he won. The deletion of the "progressive" quote might cause an eyebrow raising, though not mine. Just be aware that tensions run high on that article, so if someone WP:BITEs, it's probably not you specifically. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 03:19, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Template discussion
As an occasional editor to the discussion at Template:United States presidential election, 2008 your input would be appreciated at Template talk:United States presidential election, 2008#Proposal: A return to the old standards. Thank you.--STX 04:45, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Warning
Warning - please do not edit war, as you have been in the J Stalin article and in Cypress Village, Oakland, California. If you continue disruptive editing you may be blocked from further editing the encyclopedia. Wikidemo (talk) 16:13, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Second-level warning - you are continuing to edit war after receiving the above warning, here. It is not proper to nominate an article for deletion as non-notable while simultaneously blanking the article and claiming it has no sources. I may bring this up on WP:AN/I. If you continue you will be blocked. Wikidemo (talk) 16:25, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Further warning - please stop edit warring and making accusations on the AfD talk page, as with this edit. You are edit warring to insert your "objection" out of sequence in the middle of my comment. If you have a comment to make you can put it at the end of mine, not in the middle where it breaks into two halves, leaving the first half unsigned. Cut it out. Wikidemo (talk) 23:23, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Fourth warning' - for this series of edits. Stop edit warring. You keep deleting sources and content from this article. Also, for WP:NPA and civility. You have repeatedly accused me of "vandalism".. Please stop. Wikidemo (talk) 23:36, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Warning (2)
Please stop adding "former porn star" to Matt Sanchez. Please discuss the change on the talk page and come to a consensus with the other editors. If you add it again, you will be blocked. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 22:50, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
AN/I case
As a courtesy, this is to notify you that I have filed a report at WP:AN/I concerning your recent edits, which I believe represent a pattern of disruptive behavior for which you should be blocked from editing. The case is at WP:AN/I#User:boomgaylove. Wikidemo (talk) 01:54, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Blocked
You have been blocked from editing for a period of indefinitely for disruptive editing; you subvert process, you insist on your own interpretations, you take no notice of warnings, and all in all, the impression is that you are not here to contribute to building an encyclopedia.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Misplaced Pages's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page:{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Decline reason:
I reviewed the AN/I and this block is clearly justified. Wikidemo demonstrated beyond doubt that you are a classically disruptive editor. I would go further and say that your behavior merits not just an indefinite block, but a community ban ... you are in that league. I am particularly aghast at your removal of sources, your misstatements about the quality of those sources in the AfDs you started, and bad-faith placement of cleanup tags. I find your comment below about how you are "Machiavellian" and can't pick your battles to be particularly telling about your fitness for resumed editing privileges. Any good you or another editor believe you may have done is far outweighed by the bad. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:43, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I am looking for help! Ask your question below. You can also check Help:Contents and the FAQ, or ask at the Help desk or the Teahouse. My advice
First of all, it may surprise you to know that I take no pleasure in your being banned. "Indefinitely" is a long time.
Having said that, I have two pieces of advice for you (and since it's free advice, you're welcome to take it or leave it):
1. Choose your battles carefully. (never liked doing that, i'm machiavellian like that Boomgaylove (talk) 02:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC))
2. Learn how to write and how to use logic. (would you elaborate?Boomgaylove (talk) 02:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC))
