I am here for some very limited purposes, because some people have asked me to help in some specific cases. I am prepared to do this. I am not intending to be here much, at present. I have not yet decided whether to start using this account actively again. No, I don't want to talk about any of the foregoing, thanks, the people concerned know who they are and how to get hold of me. This is about some ongoing unresolved issues being discussed on one or more mailing lists, when that debate comes to fruition I will take a view. Guy (Help!) 12:45, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Userify it?
While I find Template:uninformed wingnut drivel to be a good chuckle, perhaps it would be best if you userified it? I just envision somebody adding it somewhere and it touching off a boatload of drama and whining. I don't care if it exists, especially since the purple box is actually larger than the template, but you know how these things can get... Anyways, no biggie, just a simple query. Cheers, — Scientizzle 19:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, userfy or delete, a giggle was all it was for, if someone laughed and it improved their day a bit then it did its job :-) Guy (Help!) 19:34, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- User:JzG/Uninformed wingnut drivel I didn't wanna delete it: too enjoyably snarky to be done away with. — Scientizzle 21:22, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- This is hilarious. Thank you. David in DC (talk) 06:50, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Protection
Is there any good reason why Jewish Supremacism: My Awakening on the Jewish Question is protected from being created? — EliasAlucard / Discussion 22:10, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Spamming. Guy (Help!) 00:00, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, but the article should be unlocked now, because it's a notable topic. — EliasAlucard / Discussion 01:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Kimberly Williamson Butler
Hi. I'm unsure if I agree that the Kimberly Williamson Butler needed immediate speedy deletion. Might some notice of problems which need fixing or a listing for proposed deletion rather than unilateral speedy have been options? Comments? Cheers, -- Infrogmation (talk) 22:13, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- You can have the deleted content if you like, I saw a minor politician with no successful elections to significant office and lots of coatrackery. Guy (Help!) 14:19, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
You surprise me...
I must say, for someone with whose attitude I've silently-yet-vehemently disagreed with so very often*, you're actually turning out to be a fun person! That Clarence Budlington Kelland thing, for instance--and the Uninformed Wingnut Drivel template (I soooo wanna make a real-life version of that and slap it on my cube-mate's computer when he starts listening to his conspiracy-theory Internet-radio shows...) I'll be interested to see how the Kelland article shapes up...and judging from that pic on the linked site, he is ANYTHING but "gaunt-faced". I was expecting Skeletor, or something like. Anyway...:) *no offense meant--I'm well aware that a world run by people who think just like me would be hopelessly squishy and inefficient.Gladys J Cortez 22:16, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- I have a very dry sense of humour that does not translate well into text-based media. I am also under a lot of pressure right now personally and at work (I work in a very busy group and am engaged in some very high profile projects). So sometimes I'm excessively abrupt. And I'm a heartless deletionist. But deep down I'm a nice guy :o) Guy (Help!) 14:20, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

ELs
Under what provision of WP:EL are you removing links to major fan sites , and to sources of free content text?DGG (talk) 14:24, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Links to normally avoid include links to sites spammed by the site owners. I was being kind by not calling the man a spammer. Sources of "free content" with summaries extolling their virtues are also almost always spam. Some of the free content was free in the sense of stolen (WP:C). Specifics? harassment of women
I know a story about a policeman who arrested a man for abusing a woman. He flung the thug in the back of his van and handcuffed him to the dividing wire mesh. Then all the way to the station he kept on braking so that the thugs face kept getting smashed against the mesh. It is not nice to pick on intelligent young women. It makes you into a neanderthal. I am sure you are not as ignorant as you make out. It would be nice if you made efforts to apologise to Angela. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.108.6.216 (talk) 20:50, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
