Hi, could you please help me with the Turkish vandal "XMurat" constantly changing the article: http://en.wikipedia.org/Recognition_of_the_Armenian_Genocide
and the map: http://commons.wikimedia.org/Image:ArmenianGenocideRecognition.png
Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.158.196.73 (talk) 19:48, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

The term "Azerbaijani"
Do you know if there has been any extensive discussion on Misplaced Pages about the use/misuse of this word. It is my opinion that an "Azerbaijani" is a citizen of Azerbaijan. The republic of Azerbaijan did not exist before May 1918, so nobody prior to that date could be called an "Azerbaijani" (they would either be ethnic Tartars (or ethnic Azeri Tartars) or ethnic Armenians, and so on). And, furthermore, it could be argued that anybody who was a citizen of Azerbaijan after that date, even if they were Armenian or Georgian, could also legitimately be called an "Azerbaijani". Map
User:Steelmate recommended not showing the individual states and I just went along with his proposal. Whether we include them or not, I have no issue either way. You can bring this up on the "Recognition of the Armenian Genocide" article talk page. -- Aivazovsky (talk) 16:51, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Aram Andonian
Hello VartanM,
I have asked a question about Aram Andonian which received no answer, and the article still contains the line " worked for the Young Turk government during World War I. Andonian served in the department of military censorship" which I have not read anywhere else... Is it correct ? Since he was arrested on April 24th, 1915 (according to Yves Ternon, Enquête sur la négation d'un génocide, amongst others), it is highly unrealistic (to say the least) that he was working fot the military censorship, or am I missing something ? I am sorry to bother you, but I thought that my question was too specific to flood the WikiProject Armenia and anyway you answer most questions there ;)) And you edited the article on Aram Andonian not long ago.
Best regards,

Criticism
Hey! Why are you repeatedly changing my contributions (to the articles Armenian National Committee of America, David Mayer de Rothschild, and Bilderberg Group), and saying that I don't provide references and reliable sources? I have provided 5 sources on each of them, so don't try to cover up the truth! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.229.25.221 (talk) 01:37, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
I only reverted you once on the ANCA page because it was unsourced POV claim. VartanM (talk) 02:49, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
CfD on Category:Holocaust deniers
I'm afraid you can't do that. You can't just add an unrelated category to a CfD discussion. Imagine if it was an AfD discussion; someone nominated an article about soup for deletion then a few days later you added an article about football. That just wouldn't work. If you really want to nominate Holocaust deniers then you'll need to nominate it separately. Note however that the category survived a CfD discussion in April last year. Re: Canvassing
I suspect you meant to make the point to someone else, rather than me. I haven't nominated anything for deletion for quite some time now and didn't involve myself in canvassing when I did. Regards Tonywalton 23:31, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Please check who you're talking to
Your last comment, starting "Dear Arsenic" was left on my talkpage. If you intend a message for someone, please check the "Editing whatever" header to make sure that you're editing that someone's talkpage. I know I too can screw up from time to time, but please don't do it repeatedly. Thanks. Tonywalton 00:18, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
your thoughts pls
Hi, Grandmaster has asked me to perform a page move. From a quick glace I can see consensus on the talk between Grandmaster and alidoostzadeh, but I notice that in that section you have rejected a merge request so perhaps you have an opinion on the rename proposal. Please let me know when you have time. John Vandenberg (talk) 08:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Hello
I respect your work, and know how hard you try to be NPOV though at times to me seems very POV, but I have seen you do good NPOV work as well, so understand I am not here to "fight you" on every turf or article.
Please check my message at: http://en.wikipedia.org/User_talk:Deliogul#slm. with regards to canvassing. Thanks and good day. — § _Arsenic99_ 19:17, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Right "a little help" is biraz yardim, a little help in directing me to the right way to propose a CfD, it was my first time. I didn't say, a little help in voting on delete, as I told you there is nothing like that in the messages. Regardless, I'll be more careful and write it in English next time. I didn't propose to anyone to make a SPA account, that could be anyone or even someone who is a wikipedian but just never bothered to make an account, so please understand that you don't need to jump to conclusions. If I was trying to be low and dirty, I would bring in 200 people from my fraternities and organizations I know to make posts, and you would see a link to that page on many websites, but I am not trying to "cheat" my way, plus it's not about numbers, it's about the strength of the argument and I know my argument for deletion is simply flat out better than yours for keeping it. I'll understand if you disagree. — § _Arsenic99_ 22:02, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
