== Euro/US Dollar ==

Sorry about that. I had done a cursory check of several different currency combinations to see how the US Dollar and Euro had generally moved, but somehow neglected to check GBP/EUR, one of the most important combinations. Still, considering both of those articles have only been updated with a single sentence each referencing the drop/rise, I question whether it really warrants being on ITN. - ] 11:30, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Coat of Arms of Ireland

The large coat of arms is still be commented on. Maybe you can lend a word or two? Djegan 14:21, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Category:Roads in Ireland

Just thought you should know, recently a user has taken it upon themselves to move all of the RoI N based roads out of the "Category:Roads in the Republic of Ireland", and into the "Category:Roads in Ireland", therefore making a mockery of the category hierarchy system. In addition they have added "Category:Roads in Ireland" to all the articles in the "National Primary Roads" template to said category as well, making even more category confusion in the categories and subcategories. Unfortunately the user that has made the alterations has publically stated that they refuse to be bound by the Misplaced Pages conventions and use the name "Republic of Ireland" at any point and doesn't recognise the term, which is a shame as other than this one point the user makes some very good edits. Hi Zoney...guess that would be me Ben is referring to above! (I think we have made peace since then). What brought me here was to try and find out HOW you produce those wonderful "Route Boxes" like THIS. I am doing a series on regional roads and would love to be able to create equivqlent (in black and white) of the N-boxes. How do you do it? (Sarah777 22:42, 1 April 2007 (UTC))

Hello again Zoney...I just have to ask...is THIS the sign that gave you your Wikiname? I was looking for a place in west Mullingar last week when I came upon this on the ring-road! Double-take - I knew it was familiar! Regards (Sarah777 00:49, 8 April 2007 (UTC))

WP on Iraq War WMD

Hi Zoney. I noticed you were in at the start of this article on the lead up to the war, and I thought you might be able to help me. What I'm looking for is a record of the pre-March '03 Misplaced Pages discussions about reports of the governments' WMD claims. I'd just like to see how well NPOV was being applied by editors before the lack of WMDs became clear. So many articles have sprung up following the war that it's difficult to locate where the original discussions might have taken place. I'd appreciate it if you pointed me in the right direction. Thanks.--Shtove 21:16, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Tinsley Viaduct

Hi there Zoney. I see you have edited the above article, I'd like to invite you to a poll on the inclusion or not of the coordinates box, here. L.J.Skinner 02:11, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

'Regional road' article

Thanks Zoney. The "no article yet" category was because someone had put a list of roads with no article related to them on the page - I didn't want to delete them. The other categories were simply to make it easier for me to navigate - please feel free to change it. The 'scenic' class is subjective, of course, but does that mean we can't have one? Classes I'd like to retain are Short Roads (less than 25 km - because some of them are very short with no habitations en route and Urban Roads; some run entirely through built-up areas, certainly around Dublin. Please Wikify the page as you see fit - any help much appreciated! (Sarah777 21:49, 22 April 2007 (UTC))

Me again. Why not write an article on the R526 in Wiki? A matter of minutes given the article on your website! Regards (Sarah777 00:09, 26 May 2007 (UTC))

Image:Derry.Shield.png

Hi, regarding the discussion of this image on Misplaced Pages:Possibly unfree images. I deleted the image because, even though you made it yourself, it is an almost exact copy of a copyrighted (not under a free license) work. In case Image:Derry arms 2003.png. I also put it for deletion at Commons, on which you are of course welcome to comment. See Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Derry.Shield.png. Garion96 (talk) 15:45, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Discussion you might be interested in

Based on your having voted on whether the article Carrantuohill should be moved to Carrauntoohil back in November 2005, I figured you might be interested in joining the discussion on Talk: Galteemore on whether the article Galteemore should be moved to Galtymore Mountain. R293

Article on the r293 road is posted up now, I had wanted to get the page away from redirecting to the 'regional road' page, hence the alteration I had done previously. Owenmoresider 22:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Geography of Ireland

You may have noticed that Geography of Ireland is on FAR and mainly needs inline citations and some statistics checking. I see that you did some work on this article, so maybe you can help it being demoted from FA. Cheers ww2censor (talk) 04:18, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:1926 Irish road signs.png

Thanks for uploading Image:1926 Irish road signs.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:49, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
