There is a 100+ student choir, a division 1 band, and a division 1 orchestra. This year, both the 8th grade band and orchestra achieved the high distinction of getting all 1's at the regional MSBOA festivals. By getting 1's they are elegible to compete at the state level at state festival. Kinawa also has many sports teams, with 8th grade and 7th grade basketball and volleyballteams.
