Surprise surprise, Orangemarlin has reverted my edits on ] without providing any rationale except citing ] and ]. I have requested comment and requested that an admin ask him to stop. NPOV is just moot now, and WP:WEIGHT made me laugh when I read on the second line that views need to be represented by reliable sources. If anyone would actually read the stupid citations, it says right in (#135 page 16 final paragraph) that being conservative or liberal has nothing to do with level of knowledge of Aids. At this point, the only reason anyone could possibly be reverting the article given the rationale I provided is that there is a conflict of interest. | Surprise surprise, Orangemarlin has reverted my edits on ] without providing any rationale except citing ] and ]. Surprise surprise, Orangemarlin has reverted my edits on Aids without providing any rationale except citing WP:NPOV and WP:WEIGHT. Article Mynheer has been nominated for deletion under the rationale that it is not important enough for inclusion. Currently under investigation...Merechriolus (talk) 19:18, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Article Mynheer has been deleted under the rationale of Misplaced Pages:CSD#G6, a non-controversial utility deletion, which suggests the editor responsible is modifying it or moving it, and intends to restore it in some form. I will post an update as to what happened when I get a response.Merechriolus (talk) 03:51, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Article Mynheer has been created, with, in my opinion, some pretty nice work on the citations. We'll see how it fairs; Milord already has a page, so this is a textbook case for keeping Mynheer, as to retain NPOV. Still, the article is short and weak, considering that there's so very little to say; I grouped it in with Linguistics stubs() just to hedge my bets.
Just for the reference, Aids is going along quite dandily at the Administrator's Noticeboard, and if my removal of the contested phrase abouts conservatives being uninformed about Aids transmission is reverted again, I'll request comment from an admin and look into what it takes to Topic-Block people for refusing to acknowledge POV statements.Merechriolus (talk) 03:03, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Aids is pretty much moot at this point and incontestable, so my next project will be beginning soon. Just for reference, it's an entirely new article that has absolutely nothing to do with politics or POV, so the couple people who I expect are going to see this (and you know who you are), other than the wonderful admins, can leave me alone. I would say the name of the article, but I wouldn't want anyone to steal my thunder and go creating it on me. Anyway, I'm going to use this section as a journal of mine. It will be updated next time anything major happens.
For the record, I obviously handled Aids badly and exposed myself easily to criticism. That won't happen again; it was a learning experience, and the lesson was that if you're going to go a-debating, you have to be untouchable, so as to avoid the pitfall of allowing the other end of the argument to go off on me about stuff that should be kept to the user talk pages, and not the article discussion.Merechriolus (talk) 02:50, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
