Long term abuse is a page intended to hold information describing editors or IPs who should be known by as many users as possible to aid in detecting and defeating their policy violations. Think of it as a "post office wall" with wanted posters. This page has been confused with several other pages, so please check the "Explanation" section if this is your first time here.

Dealing with vandalism |
Resources and assistance |
Further information |
This page should contain only properly categorized, unique entries on specific vandals with enough relevant and correct information to allow other people to identify them and their tracks. To keep this page functioning smoothly, please:
- Don't add an entry here requesting action, such as a block or page protect. This page is not scanned regularly, as Administrator intervention against vandalism (WP:AIV) and, to a lesser degree, Requests for page protection (WP:RFPP) are. If you need someone blocked or a page protected, please refer to those two links.
- Only add vandals here; if you've been blocked as well as the "vandal" for edit warring or similar, don't add them yourself or use sockpuppets to do so. This page is not for dealing with two sided edit-wars, only one-sided vandalism.
- Only add vandals who need to be pointed out, such as sneaky sockpuppeteers, trolls, etc. Really obvious vandals should be reported to WP:AIV or, if they use sockpuppets, Misplaced Pages:Suspected sock puppets. Likewise, vandals should only be added here if their vandalisms are serious (A good rule of thumb is whether or not their primary account has been indefinitely blocked). If you're not sure, ask on the talk page; we'll help.
- Don't report IP addresses! Severe IP vandals should be reported to Misplaced Pages:Abuse reports, not here.
- Don't use this page for discussions. If there needs to be a discussion, start it on the talk page and link to its section from this page. If there is a discussion going on elsewhere, link to it.
- Don't "sign" your entries, but do say who originally reported them, or who are the most knowledgeable about them so they can be contacted if need be.
- Don't use relative phrases like "recently" or "lately" without qualification. Try using "as of" to remedy this: "As of August 3, ..."
- Don't add entries without the vital information enumerated below; they will almost certainly be useless and end up being removed.
- Keep this page free of useless content: Avoid off-topic discussion or other unneeded text, don't add images (Link to them if they are relevant to the entry), and refrain from injecting emotions into reports here.
- Remember to update entries with new or important information.
Criteria for addition
Users listed should have a marked past of policy violations well before and after their final, indefinite, block. User accounts that are listed as vandals but only have minor blocks, or "major vandals"/"sockpuppets" that aren't blocked indefinitely, will likely be removed. The relevant logs should back up your assertions, not contradict them.
Note that shared IP addresses (EG. Schools, libraries, prisons, legislatures, etc.) engaging in egregious vandalisms should be reported on this page as they specialize in dealing with such IPs.
Criteria for removal
Any entry may be removed by anyone if it is clearly:
- An old entry of an inactive vandal; subpages may be nominated for deletion on WP:MFD
- Completely improper, incorrect or malicious (False report), incomplete or totally incoherent. Vandals "reporting themselves" should almost always be reverted.
Adding to this page
- Check the subpages to ensure that they aren't already known about there.
- If the vandal's totally new, create an entry at the bottom of the appropriate section (see below for an explanation), with a descriptive heading, and under it a "Modus operandi" subsection.
- This is vital: Without information on what a certain "vandal" does or how they do it, it will be impossible for other readers to understand how to spot them. Entries without this information will almost certainly be removed. See below for more information.
- If they're already listed on this page, add new information if you have it (Such as new sockpuppets or MOs). Discussion should be kept to a minimum, such as an open ended question about a puzzling attribute. In this instance, if you post the answer, incorporate it into the entry and remove the question. This page is extremely long as it is, if there needs to be prolonged discussion, use a talk page and link to it from the entry. Off topic discussion should be removed by anyone and any large discussion that has idled may be summarized.
Necessary information in an entry
Entries MUST have the following information to have utility:
- A list of the vandals account(s). IP addresses should not be listed unless they are used SOLELY by them or have other useful attributes. Usernames should be listed to with the {{vandal}} template and {{IPvandal}} used for any IPs. If they have a category for their sockpuppets, link to it.
- A description of their modus operandi. Good detail is important; unneeded information will be trimmed out by others, but a under-explained entry will require other people to sift through links, or just remove it. Linking some "diffs" (revisions) of their vandalisms is a good way to provide information on their vandalism it will show exactly what the vandal has been doing. Note that linking to a "rolling list", such as a page's history, is NOT passable: pages keep getting edits and after a while, the vandalic entries are several pages back.
In either report, you don't need to list more than five socks/examples, barring something extremely unusual. If there are more then that many sockpuppets, consider creating a category and tagging their userpages with sockpuppet tags.
If you aren't sure that your entry is correct, it is OK to request formatting help in then entry. If people have questions when they fix the format, they may ask you for more details.
Sections
The page is divided up into sections as follows:
- The Archives which are periodically created for old entries who have become inactive for a significant length of time.
- Entries, comprizing (in addition to regular entries):
- Subpages for vandals who are a serious enough threat to warrant a subpage for easy reference (Please read the guideline there before creating a subpage).
- Serial SPAMmers who literally do nothing but SPAM, frequently by inserting the same link into every article that's possibly related to what they're pushing.
- To be correctly filed — Holding pen where entries are added by default. If you're in a hurry you can add yours here, but you should try and find the correct section yourself.

Entries
Subpages
These pages contain information on more serious or unusual cases which merit a fixed location of reference. Before creating a new subpage, please read the guidelines. Frequently people jump directly to creating a subpage instead of listing a vandal on this page which often results in unnecessary pages which serve little purpose and end up getting deleted.
Some questions to ask of the new subpage and its subject:
- Is the vandal a "long term" vandal? Remember the pages are subpages of LTA and have to fulfill the same criteria as entries on LTA.
- Does the vandal deserve a more permanent information location? Why can't they be listed on LTA like any other? There has to be a definite reason (or number of reasons) for giving them a subpage beyond "the LTA page section is too long" (e.g. engages in a very serious form of vandalism; appears to suffer from a mental disorder).
- Is their vandalism simple and easy to detect? If so, then there probably isn't much need to create a page describing it, as users will be able to pick up on and deal with it as typical vandalism without requiring any insight into previous vandalism and/or whether or not a particular person is responsible for it. Pages on vandals which provide little help beyond what could easily be discovered by simply monitoring recent changes serve little purpose. As above, prolixity doesn't by itself warrant a subpage.
- Is the increased effort worth it? Keep in mind that subpages must be maintained and kept up to date, if no new developments are likely to occur and there is no great need to inform everyone about them, a subpage would likely grow extremely stale very quickly.
Some example of "legit" subpages and why:
- Primetime and Verdict — Both vandals regularly engage in wanton copyright infringement that could place the Wikimedia Foundation in serious legal danger.
- DavidYork71, Ericsaindon2 and Lightbringer These vandals are obsessed with inserting their POV into articles, and make no effort whatsoever to discuss their edits. To someone who doesn't know about them, they may appear to be legitimate participants in a content dispute rather than banned users. Due to this, unneeded and (proven) useless dispute resolution may be pursued rather than simply blocking their socks, wasting people's time.
Serial SPAMmers
Consider also reporting these spammers to the meta:Spam blacklist. If the addition is successful, you may wish to immediately archive or remove the section here.
Universe Today and sockpuppet-SPAMmers
Operating most notabily from the shared 203.10.59.63 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) this user is a sneaky sockpuppeting SPAMMer. All this info is at /Universe Daily.

He has been blocked four times. Check for new spammers by using this linksearch. Original report by User:Ideogram.
- This entry was blanked by a user from 203.109.50.20 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). Car and Ringtone Spammer
- 69.39.136.154 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log)
User keeps adding external links to his car website or ringtone/phone website, which only contains Misplaced Pages information (directly copied with no credit given to Wikimedia) and sponsored adverts. The links appear on many 'car' pages such as those of Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz, Land Rover etc (in the external links section). Spamming has continued to this day, despite a 24 hour ban by user RadioKirk. 50+ articles have had links added, some have now been removed be me and others, but he is persistent...

Datasheet serial spammer
Not surprizingly this spammer hits the Datasheet page (history) and others related to electronics. The original URL (datasheet4u.com) was banned on Meta, but recently mirrors have sprung up, requiring the page to be kept under nearly constant protection.

These SPAMmers, who may be running a botnet from zombie computers, add trash like this. Many of the IPs are in LACNIC's range). A site-specific search on Google reveals that it's been somewhat successful at getting some indexing. An example IP is 83.238.44.12 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) on June 1 2006. These malefactors have hit up other websites as well:
SPUSA spammer
Anonymous IPs with similar IP numbers have persistently added links to the Socialist Party USA website and the wikipedia page on the organisation. These links number in the hundreds to any article on a social issue, such as black power, and re-adds the links repeatedly after they've been reverted by other editors. They are usually in the "see also" and "external links section, but sometimes, the same editor removes content critical of the SPUSA, or adds links in the body of the article (e.g. this diff, this diff and this diff). Occasionally these links may be considered legitimate, but the vast majority are things like "the SPUSA cares about this issue too" (e.g. this diff). It's hard to tell if they are honestly trying to promote the group or turn people against it! The editor/s have used the the following IP addresses, among others:

DickyRobert
DickyRobert (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was an editor who was blocked indefinitely for disruption on pages related to warez and threats. He regularly creates new sockpuppets but doesn't use them untill they're old enough to skirt semi-protection, then he'll flood his chosen targets with them, frequently using each account only once, whether or not it's been blocked.
His sockpuppet names generally are names of famous people (User:Issac Newton), or various productions. See Category:Suspected Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of DickyRobert for the full list of suspected accounts.
Blocked User:Gibraltarian
Gibraltarian (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was indefinitely blocked in mid-December 2005 for constant sockpuppetry, personal attacks, malice and POV pushing. His sockpuppets can be seen here and here.
He uses the most major dial-up ISP in the territory, hence blocking them or individual IPs will result in collateral damage to most of Gibraltar. Keep the blocks short: Enough to make him impatient to re-dial-up. Also note that 195.244.195.104 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), which is occasionally used only by Gibnews (talk · contribs), is legitimate. A history of the IPs he's used may be seen here.

- All clearly the same person. This anon keeps adding nonsense "trivia" to articles and promoting false information, especially concerning a hoax SpongeBob SquarePants episode called "The Shining". All attempts to communicate, including many blocks, with this anon have failed, and the anon refuses to abide by wikipedia policy by removing AfD notices and refusal to cooperate with others in editing. This user lurks Disney, Pokémon, and SpongeBob articles, and is easily noticed by reversal to his own edits. --Apostrophe 04:56, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
- I believe this vandal is far more prolific, ive seen similar IPs adding to various episode lists like the simpsons and the fairly odd parents usually adding fake episodes he wishes were real or screaming for the page to be unlocked to anon editing. Discordance 18:26, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

Now look at the contributions of 65.172.235.249 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). Finally, look at the contributions of 67.38.12.126 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). There isn't anything to guarantee that these are all the Shining Vandal, but according to what I have found, they all seem to go after the same articles and have the same method of attack. -- PinkDeoxys 21:20, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

- A user named Uytku (talk · contribs) made many vandal edits to the List of experiments from Lilo & Stitch on January 1st, claiming that the characters appeared in SpongeBob Squarepants episodes, and also as puppets in The Muppets and Sesame Street. I remember seeing this same vandalism on the page earlier in December with a different account (this account was only used on the 1st). Could it be the same person? Tooj117/The Geek Vandal
Tooj117 is a vandal that started vandalizing the page Geek by repetedly adding a ridiculous picure of a stereotypical geek. The vandal the began adding this picture on various pages, or just doing other vandalism such as page blanking, and false information. The user was blocked indefinitely. Tooj117 kept creating sockpuppets and had accounts doing the same vandalism from different IPs. The vandalism by tooj117 of the page geek still happens frequently, but not nearly as often as before. Tooj117 has claimed to be more than 3 people working as a "team" to create sockpuppets and vandalize pages. Another user Stroon was thought to be an impersonator, but is simply a member of the Tooj117 "unit".The Geek Vandal still vandalizes pages freqeuntly. Mostly geek, Joe Lieberman, and Admin's user pages (Particularly Ohnoitsjamie). Tooj117 has started vandalizing across wikis and creating impersonations of Admins user pages. This troll/vandal also appears to be active at Palaeos.org a 💕 of Geologic history.

Sollog
Followers of a self-styled god named Sollog frequently vandalise the Misplaced Pages. They at one point had a website at http://www.wikipediasucks.com.

Sockpuppets / Meatpuppets of Sollog will usually make themselves known by invoking the name of Sollog or linking to the aforementioned site or http://www.247news.net/2004/20041211-wikipedia.shtml, also sharing a similar writing style, using UPPER CASE for emphasis. See Talk:Sollog for information on their past behavior. An example of Sollog vandalism can be seen in this edit to Henry VIII of England:

Super Nintendo vandal
This vandal vandalizes pages by replacing the page title or keyterms with the word Super Nintendo. This vandal moves at very high speed. I only have 2 IP's for this vandal but I'm almost positive that there are more.--Ichiro (会話|+|投稿記録|メール) 04:43, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Zephram Stark
After being banned six months by the Arbitration Committee for POV-pushing on Terrorism and related pages, personal attacks (including a racial slur ), and unwillingness to cooperate with his fellow editors, he created multitudes of sockpuppets to circumvent his ban, which has been reset several times. --TML1988 21:39, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Images:
Frequently, he will upload an image. It can either be a strange one that he created, or just a random one that he swiped from the web. He also creates sockpuppets and uploads images to Misplaced Pages Commons. (See , , , ). They're all Zephram sockpuppets, many of the same images have been deleted from Misplaced Pages. If anyone uses any of these images here, he is most likely a sockpuppet. For example War on Sockpuppetism. --JW1805 (Talk) 17:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Krabs502
- Krabs502 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) seems to create multiple sockpuppets with usernames Krabs5**. Creates articles with dubious validity and inserts uncited (most likely hoax) information into articles. Attempts to contact the user have failed since whenever one username gets warned the user just creates another one to continue editing in the same manner. Most used account seems to be Krabs514 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and the most recent is Krabs520 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Krabs520 removed an AFD tag from an article Krabs514 created. --TheKoG (talk|contribs) 13:32, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Krabs502 just tried to remove the AFD off of the same article (The Girl Who Turned to Stone (video game)) again. Has created yet another hoax article (The Smallest People in the World (video game)). --TheKoG (talk|contribs) 18:47, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

User:Hryun (D.A. Arbatsky vandal)
User has declared a "war" against Misplaced Pages because it did not allow the article on a purported scientific theory of Dmitri Arbatsky (who is probably the vandal) to survive. As such has created many single-edit sockpuppets and has made various edits to quantum physics articles, many of them intentional vandalism (inserting incorrect statements, moving or deleting sections) or variations of self-promotion spam. See Category:Suspected Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of Hryun for a list of them. They all have very similarly uninventive names and usually link to a diff of his declared "war" on Misplaced Pages, lord knows why. It would be great if we could assess whether or not the ISP, who is obviously assigning dynamic IPs, is worth contacting or just worth blocking alltogether. --Fastfission 00:08, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Unemployed, living in basement, aka Brando(n)03, aka Louisville Vandal
Unemployed, living in basement (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is a troll account which was indefinely blocked for repeated vandalism. He attempts to harass users who deal with his trollery by vandalising their user and user talk pages (Including using malicious redirects) and creating fraudulent impostor usernames and attempting to ruin their reputation. He has also made homophobic vandalisms against gay users. According to User:Chris24, his name is Jxxxxxx Bxxxxxx Mxxxxx.
Brandon03 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) shows strong knowledge of WpA process and culture, suggesting this vandal has done his research or has been around for a while. Many of his IPs are registered to Qwest in Louisville, Kentucky, hence the name.
See also, Category:Suspected Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of Unemployed, living in basement.
He has claimed that he is going to stop vandalising. Note that this was one of the hallmarks of the "North Carolina vandal".
He's still vandalising and spamming. Hopefully the following information will help catch him:
- His name is Jxxxxxx B. Mxxxxx and he attends the University of Louisville http://louisville.edu/~jbmxxxxx/
Fursecution Vandal
A user has been repeatedly attacking articles related to Furry fandom, Therianthropy and Otherkin. The user violates WP:HA. The vandalism often involves insults aimed at these various subsultures and/or bad-faith merge requests. The vandalism also involves user page vandalism, hate speech, and is not just blanking.
User:Fursecution vandal's sock puppets list is here.
September 3
Since August 24, attacks on this group of pages are still being observed, but if they are from the same editor, the MO may be taking a turn for the more subtle. Rather than delete entire sections or add merge requests, recent attacks have been single sentences or even single words, continuing the pattern of WP:HA, but from accounts not flaunting an obvious connection with TFV. These may be unrelated incidents, but I would caution editors to keep a close eye out regardless. Baxil 09:07, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Asian fetish vandal
User logs in from a randomized German IP 80.138.x.x to post racist, anti-semitic, and sexist material under the rubric of "anthropology." Uses white supremacist sources. Most notorious for persistent vandalism to Asian fetish. Also attacks Beethoven, Racial fetishism, Anti-relativity (Deleted), Mongoloid, Special relativity, Anthropology, Virago and possibly other pages. Insults other editors based on assumptions about their gender, religion, or ethnic background. Banning is impractical due to the range of IP addresses used.

The Middle East Conflict Man
The Middle East Conflict Man (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), indefinitely banned from three Wikipedias (English and both Norwegians), uses numerous sockpuppets to make a highly POV edit to Socialism, as well as making inflammatory/vandalistic edits to various other socialism-related articles. As of late July 2006 he has 50 suspected sockpuppets. Blocks on his IP are apparently ineffective.
The sockpuppets variously claim to be from two different people: given their similar behaviour, they may be treated as one entity in accordance with Arbitration Committee rulings

Emico
Emico (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was banned from editing Iglesia ni Cristo related articles for one year from August 21, 2005 (provided he doesn't violate his parole) by the arbitration comittee: Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Emico. He has not honored that decision and continues to cause disruption at the article and users involved with his ArbCom hearing. Emico is also believed to be using proxys to evade blocks, making it nearly impossible to confirm using checkuser functionality. A member of the Arbitration Comittee has declared explicitly that Emico's edits and edits edits of suspected sockpuppets may be reverted "without comment":
Modus operandi
The following is a list of editing patterns which are common with Emico and his sockpuppets:
- Posts only at Iglesia ni Cristo and its related articles.
- Personal attacks or negative opinions aimed the contributers who are against him (mostly the ones who have participated in his ArbCom hearing). This includes, but is not limited to, comments about contributers' past policy violations or/and lack of knowlege of the subject matter.
- New usernames where the majority of contributions are of the above point.
- Posts coming from proxy addresses. A checkuser result has proven Emico posts from different IPs from all over the world.
- Article edits which are nearly identical to Emico's initial edit pattern, which is explained at Misplaced Pages:Requests for comment/Emico.
- Insult usernames which parodies current contributers' screen names (eg User:Starbucks, User:LenlenBunting)
- Massive ommisions of sourced content which are critical of the Church.
- Use of sockpuppets (See Category:Suspected Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of Emico and Category:Misplaced Pages sockpuppets of Emico)
- Use of open proxies

Since late May 2006, this user has vandalized several articles related to The Walt Disney Company, Barney & Friends and Public Broadcasting Service. Occasional targets include articles related to The Simpsons and The Land Before Time, along with miscellaneous television and media topics. His/her modus operandi is to introduce inaccuracies and bad formatting, much of it subtle to inexperienced users or those who know little about either subject. Edits from all IPs are identical, so it's virtually certain they are operated by the same user.
Articles frequented by this user include:
Disney articles:
- The Walt Disney Company (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of Disney theatrical animated features (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views): Fans of Disney animated films know there is an "official canon", and that not all Disney films are part of it, including live action films combined with animation, direct-to-video films and films distributed but not produced by Disney. This user continually adds two live-action films that include animation to the "official canon" list: The Reluctant Dragon and Pete's Dragon. She/he also removes explanatory notes from the list, removes verified future films and introduces a no-longer-accurate claim that Disney will never produce another traditionally animated feature film: , , . In the past, the vandal has removed information on feature film premieres:
- Touchstone Pictures (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views): removes entries from the list of Touchstone films, removes a perfectly good image and changes good links to disambiguation links
- Hollywood Pictures (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Miramax Films (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Spyglass Entertainment (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Caravan Pictures (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
Barney and PBS articles:
- Barney & Friends (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of Barney & Friends episodes and videos (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views): Makes changes that compromise this page's accuracy; removes videos from the list: ,
- Episodes of Barney & Friends
- PBS idents (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- An Adventure in Make-Believe (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), adds Sesame Street information to Barney & Friends episodes. Make make some edits that look believable but then makes these edits

User:Kenwood 3000
This vandal has two targets:
- The article on jazz fusion band Brand X and related articles, replacing tracklistings and band lineups with fake ones, occasionally inventing entire imaginary albums. A giveaway is including an 'Ian Hart-Stein' in the lineup.
- Libellous vandalism against biographies of living persons, the majority black celebrities.
Has created numerous sockpuppets, and further ones should be blocked and rolled back on sight.
User:Enlighter1 & sock puppets
Original report by clearthought Sept 2006
Seems to always vandalize Reuters, Agence France-Presse, Associated Press the most (sometimes other news and non-news articles too), as well as making personal and vile attacks against users. Always reverts the reverts people do to his/her (Enlighter1's) vandalism by saying something like "rv vandalism" or "I am not the real vandal" in the edit summary. Has edits and actions aforementioned consistent to all of this users IP and registered user sock puppets. Also, when registering a username, tends to have the name end in "1" or have something to do with "AllPowerful" or "AllKnowing". A vandal profile page keeping an eye on this vandal is needed (like what has been done with the 'communism' and 'on wheels' vandals, but obviously not as serious). I myself, and others, have spent much time trying to take care of this vandal, so I think that the Misplaced Pages community — as well as admins who can actually do something when help is needed — should be made known to this new serial vandal. Still very active 30.11.2006: activity includes "archiving" aka blanking of larger talkpages as well as targeting specific talkpages. See for typical patterns. Often uses webproxies - some open - some backslashing.
- Has disrupted IRC numerous times. Works from a Chello isp in austria apparently. He's banned from many Wikimedia IRC channels. I'm at school atm so I can't look up his static IP in the ban list. ~Crazytales (IP locations!) 13:39, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

This vandal uses similarly named sockpuppets to vandalize. His edits follow few, set patterns. Their vandalisms are usually written in "AOL speak" or just poorly spelled. For the most part, they're trollish posts attacking evolution and users they think are "evilutionists" sic.

Galatasaray, etc POV pushers
Galatasaray and some other Turkish football articles are repeatedly hit on by an IP-hopping, sockpuppeting vandal who will engage in midless reverts of these pages to "their" version regardless of the differences. When partially protected, this vandal uses sockpuppets such as Burak18 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and Johnny200 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) to perpetrate the same reversions.
A sampling of IPs used by this vandal will show their typical MO: 194.171.121.27 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log),124.50.89.17 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), 148.233.120.49 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log), 200.76.104.121 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) 82.168.59.236 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) and 82.92.94.108 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log)
Most vandalic edits involve "Turkifying" Galatasaray or other clubs by removing lists of foreign coaches. They also add unsourced conjectures ("X'll be coach of Galatasaray next year", etc.) and removing dispute tags calling attention to their unsourced assertions.
Administrator Robdurbar (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has been helping out with dealing with this vandal, concerns (New sockpuppets, etc) sent to him may be understood more quickly.
Ionocraft, Lifter (ionic propulsion device), and Biefeld – Brown effect
An AOL user has been using AOL's proxies to persistently revert two articles (one of which was moved to a new name). Their edits are always exactly the same; replacing the entire article with an old version that they wrote in a bot-like fashion. They could easily be countered by a bot that watched the page and looked for their signature edit. Page protection logs (due entirely to this vandal): Lifter (now entitled Ionocraft), Biefeld – Brown effect — Omegatron 19:15, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Jinxtengu Vandal
Operating from the main account called JINXTENGU (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) this vandalizer persistently launches personal attacks, creates a large amount of malicious sock puppets, creates imposter/spoof accounts, and many of his accounts have been blocked but one in particular was blocked for issuing a death threat (see this post) JINXTENGU is also being reported at Misplaced Pages:Suspected sock puppets/JINXTENGU and this check user report caused one of the static IPs to be blocked for a month. This user has also claimed to have written a program specifically aiming to create large amounts of sockpuppet accounts to override bans (see this).

Long-term hoax edits every month or so, notably to Suki and New World Religion, asserting the existence of a major world religion called "SUKI(tm)", despite repeated consensus to delete due to absence of reliable sources. The IP above attempted to remove this section and is noted for ranting wildly and making borderline personal attacks on people he runs in to. With a new IP, he will often make several edits about Saskatchewan politics before returning to Suki or New World Religion.

Joan of Arc vandal
This vandal edits Joan of Arc, homosexuality, cross-dressing, Catholicism and related articles, particularly on topics where these interests intersect. Uses AOL (64.12.116.x, 152.163.100.x, 205.188.11x.x) and sockpuppets.
This vandal alters pages toward a devoutly Catholic, anti-homosexual POV. Favored methods include deletion of cited material, deceptive edit summaries, and edit warring. Sometimes engages in lengthy talk page debates; at other times avoids talk pages and conducts disputes through edit summaries. Has been known to add inaccurate statements to cited passages, degrade existing footnotes, and fabricate fraudulent citations. Deletes material from talk pages. Has created at least one account to impersonate an established editor. Highly persistent vandal can read sources in French and attempts to mask destructive activity as legitimate editing disputes. Active since October 2004.
On 16 December 2006 User:AWilliamson was community banned as the (dormant) sockmaster of this sockfarm. Sockpuppets have also been banned although new and unidentified socks may remain active.

Modus operandi
Sneaky vandal, alters statistics about population, race and skin colour, entering fabricated or poorly-calculated values. Turn-ons include weather, human height, and blonde hair colour. Also categorizes people into ethnic categories (many of these are legit edits). This vandal used to edit from Canadian IP addresses, but has recently started using Brazilian dynamic IP.
Examples
- Fabricating population figures
- Altering table statistics
- Creating race categories by aggregating actual multiple-response statistics, which should not be added
- Compiling race statistics by looking at high-school yearbook photos
Bogdanov sockpuppets
Sockpuppets have been attacking the article Bogdanov Affair since 2005. The sockpuppets are easily recognisable; all use long edit summaries, never post to the talk page, and are completely unsubtle as to their reverts (that is, the diffs of each individual sockpuppet, when checked, will be identical or near-identical).
Until recently single-purpose accounts were used exclusively, since February 2007 the sockpuppeteer(s) have somehow begun resurrecting dormant accounts and using those. For example:
- Special:Contributions/Bester, made four edits in July 2005, resurrected in February 2007.
- Special:Contributions/Stern, made over 500 edits from 2004 to August 2006, resurrected in February 2007.
- Special:Contributions/Tron, made around a score of edits in Feburary 2004, resurrected three years later.
The above accounts showed none of the telling characteristics (long edit summaries etc) until their resurrection, when they began showing the signs listed above. None (as of Feb 2007) have edited Bogdanov Affair before falling dormant, but after resurrection they only edited Bogdanov Affair, even though they may have had diverse edit histories prior to being compromised. Whether these accounts have been hacked or willingly given over is not important unless the accounts request unblocking; as of Feburary 2007 none of them have done so.
Note that the arbitration committee has ruled several times (e.g. RFAR/Iasson) "For the purpose of dispute resolution when there is uncertainty whether a party is one user with sockpuppets or several users with similar editing habits they may be treated as one user with sockpuppets". In this particular case "the criteria for determining external involvement shall be a review of their edit history, it being presumed that if the vast majority of their edits are to the Bogdanov Affair they are not Misplaced Pages editors but persons involved in the external dispute." (see RFAR/Regarding The Bogdanov Affair)
In summary, all accounts which display the above obvious characteristics should be reverted and blocked on sight. Accounts which suddenly begin showing these characteristics despite a previous edit history which bears no resemblance to the Bogdanov sockpuppetry should be considered compromised and also blocked. If the compromised accounts request unblocking, that can be dealt with when it comes.

BenH
BenH (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was repeatedly warned for vandalism and infantile edits to television station articles (I've fixed at least two of them). He's had an RfC pending on him for almost a year and hasn't bothered to respond--he's been indefinitely blocked since July. Moreover, he's been suspected of using numerous sockpuppets. An administrator mentioned that he'd blocked one of them since BenH was permanently banned, but there's no notation in his block log of this. One of his suspected sockpuppets was active as late as March 20.
This guy obviously has no intentions of being a meaningful contributor, and the block hasn't stopped him.
Modus operandi
He makes unsourced and low-quality edits to TV station and other miscellaneous articles. Some of the things he does are add unsourced and false dates to TV station foundings, and stubbing articles that are way past stub status.

Modus operandi
The categories give a sample, but by no means an exhaustive list. User also at times edits anonymously, and will use "sleeper" socks to evade semiprotection. Almost always concentrates on making similar disruptive edits to Turkey () and Armenia () regarding Armenians being native in Turkey's eastern highlands, and east Turkey being "Armenian land". Edit summaries will often refer to "references" or "ancient records".

This vandal uses sockpuppets to create hoax articles about purported animated films. Many of his articles either copy the wikitext of a legitimate film article or an article about a children's book. For example, Sir Tod (1974 film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) is a copy of The Jungle Book (1967 film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). Some of his accounts combine legitimate and vandalous edits.
Those dealing with this user may want to watchlist his articles, as he frequently removes deletion tags and reposts deleted pages.
When he creates a hoax article, he will often add it to a list or template, such as the following:
- Aardman Animations (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Imagi Animation Studios (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of animated feature-length films (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of computer-animated films (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of Disney theatrical animated features (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Template:Disney direct-to-video animated features (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
- Template:Disney theatrical animated features (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
- Template:Sony Imageworks Films (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
- Sony Pictures Television (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
He also adds links to his articles in the "filmography" section of actors he claims are starring in the films (example).
Administrator Tregoweth has been watching Lyle123's activities since January 2007, and is probably the most knowledgeable about his activities.
Freddy Rantol (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) - this might be Lyle123's "original" account, from December 2006. This user created a fake animated feature article and added it to the "list of animated feature films" (). He also created an article about a 12-year-old boy which was deleted. Since then this account has had no edits.
In June 2007, a CU request on StealBoy (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was requested. The chances of the two being the same are high, and Lyle is not afraid of making a sockpuppet farm.
Examples of Lyle123 hoaxes
- Animal Olimpics (film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Cat The Movie (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Cat the Movie (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- A Car's Film (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - threatened other users to not delete it
- Dinosaurs (film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- The Farm Pair (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- The Freedom Life (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - deleted twice
- The Great Koala Detective (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - deleted twice, copy of legit article The Great Mouse Detective
- Petz (film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Pinocchio (1990 Film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- Sir Tod (1974 film) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - copy of legit article The Jungle Book (1967 film)
- Scratch and Oscar (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- The Search For Mickey Mouse (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- The Wild II (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - deleted thrice
- The Wild Forest (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) - salted
In addition, he constantly re-created the article Cat Tale, a now-canceled film that was to be released (but not produced) by Disney. The title has since been protected. "Cat the Movie" may be an attempt to revive the article under a different title.

Modus operandi
This very prolific vandal uses sockpuppets to add false information to articles related to pop stars and pop music. He has also created hoax articles about puported upcoming albums (e.g. Tatyana Ali's second studio album, the content of which he repeatedly recreates at various titles). Articles this user takes a particular interest in include Kylie Minogue, Danni Minogue, Aaron Carter, Tatyana Ali, Deborah Gibson, Tara Kemp, Coko, Tracie Spencer and Teddy Riley (producer). Some of his accounts combine legitimate and vandal edits - however his most obvious characteristic is the addition of false 'new album' and record label info and inappropriate vocal range and genre categories to pop singer articles, as well as making unsourced/false additions to various lists of singers by vocal range. He also tends to mark the vast majority of his logged-in edits as minor.
Example diffs (most of his edits follow this pattern and writing style):
Another characteristic, identifying edit, although not a vandal edit per se (JJonathan has been edit-warring on the Pop princess article for some time), can be seen here.
JJonathan frequently has more than one sockpuppet account on the go at any one time and simply creates more as required without any apparent intention of communicating or changing his ways. There does appear to be a certain consistency in naming, as a browse through the sockpuppet categories above will demonstrate. Variants of "Jonathan", "Joseph", "Junkie", "Libra", "September", "1989", "Groovy", "Pop", "NYC", "Dancer" and "Ball" pop up frequently in the usernames of his socks.
He is currently mostly editing using anon IPs in the 172.1xx.xx.xxx range, though the editing pattern is identical.
The User:Natalie Erin vandal
- Not sure, if I should post this here nor if somebody already did it previously, but I suspect a large batch of sockpuppets targeting the same user - like trying to post (sometimes without success) disgusting images or other type of offending materials to her user page. This is possibly ongoing for several weeks, perhaps months.
Did someone or will someone do a checkuser on all those accounts that have been vandalizing the User:Natalie Erin userpage. The type of vandalism makes me think that there is a long list of sockpuppets. Thanks!
For you to help - User:Sound sound of music, User:Benny RadioR, User:Kinersi, User:SouthAtom and User:Motor on time! are some of the suspected sock accounts. --JForget 21:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

- Continually adding hoax and unhelpful information to articles, particularly tornado related but to an assortment of different articles, as well creating demonstrated hoax articles complete with template and information of authentic related articles; example Eastern Colorado Tornado Outbreak of 1990. Continually restores edits and removes templates; also uses multiple accounts/IPs to try to hide activity. Evolauxia 22:18, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- User has returned, malicious intent is arguable, but edits continue to be unsubstantiated and cited sources contain different information or are irrelevant to what is added to articles. Evolauxia (talk) 03:45, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
"Eldritch", the "Jon K is racist" vandal
Unregistered user making repeated claims that musician is racist since 13th April. I detailed the vandalism here and was advised to add notice at "Long term abuse".
Warnings have been left on 10 of the IPs talk pages, and two of the IPs were temp blocked (86.129.124.222 and 86.129.142.128), though the vandalism simply continued under different IPs. The artist article is currently under it's 4th period of protection, though the frequency with which the user vandalises other articles probably doesn't yet warrant protection on those.
Modus operandi
Clearly a vendetta against the artist. User occasionally responds to reversion of his vandalism with "it wasn't me" responses, but subsequently betrays himself by going on to vandalise other articles shortly after, in the same manner, from the same IP address. I believe the user's ISP probably randomly assigns an IP address (from a range) each time the user connects to the internet, as there are ususally several edits from one IP on one day, then several edits from a different IP on another day.
User primarily vandalises the Jon Kennedy article, but has also vandalised related / linked articles, Talk:Jon Kennedy, John Kennedy (disambiguation), John Kennedy (disc jockey), Grand Central Records, Grand Central Translation, Grand Central Vol. 2, Grand Central Vol. 3, Kava Kava, One Offs... Remixes & B-Sides, Take My Drum to England, Tru Thoughts, Useless Wooden Toys, We're Just Waiting for You Now. Some instances include attempting to add legitimacy to his claim by linking to a comment made on the forum on the official Ninja Tune website, by a user who's username is also the artist's pseudonym. It is quite evident that the comment in question has notthing to do with the artist. User has vandalised the Racism article and seemingly random articles Altona, Manitoba, Leiosauridae, Ryde Pier Head railway station with the same claims about Jon Kennedy. User has also vandalised Ross Errilly Friary (blanking page), Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson (additional "race"-based vandalism).
In addition, some users who have reverted the vandal's work have had their the user pages vandalised in repsonse, Misplaced Pages:Editor review/Magnus animum2, User talk:Lights, User talk:SJP. On one of these, the vandal signed the message "Eldritch".
Upon being warned, the vandal left responses at User talk:86.153.142.101 and User talk:86.129.142.128.
IPs used so far
There may be more, but by checking the edit history of each IP that vandalised the Jon Kennedy article (15 different IPs since 13th April), I noted the other articles he'd vandalised, and then checked those for further examples of similar vandalism, which turned up 4 further IPs.

Repeatedly attacked George Elokobi and User/User Talk pages of any users who either warned him or had reverted his vandalism. Attempted to conceal evidence by blanking the User Talk pages for his sockpuppets, and any pages which contained evidence of his vandalism. Nearly every one of his socks has requested {{unblock}}, often inserting personal attacks towards Misplaced Pages admins as the reason for unblock.
After his original account has been blocked, the vandal has made heavy use of sockpuppets (24 total identified so far) to continue, including four created several days prior to the incident.
Full chronology of vandal's actions thus far has been compiled on User:The_Fifth_Horseman/Notes.

User:Kermanshahi long term vandalism (found here on this page)
The complete wikipedia-nl file on these two schoolboys from The Netherlands including all used IP-addies can now be found here. All accounts have been blocked indefinitely and the two home IP-numbers and the school I-number have been blocked for a year. The text says in translation"The following user accounts and IP-addresses, the Multiple Personality Spammer" belong to pupils of a Dutch secondary school, Maartenscollege. Their names are known with Misplaced Pages. From these accounts many dubious edits have been done and communication with themselves as well." We traced with userchecks and comparing edits all sokpops and hopefully now the problems with us have ended. Hopes this may help you since I saw the sillyness continues at wiki-en. If more information is needed feel free to contact me on my Dutch talk page. This affair has cost several administrators a lot of work. Best wishes, MoiraMoira 17:57, 15 August 2007 (UTC) (administrator Misplaced Pages-nl)
Genesis vandal (Aka user:Tile join)
Persistently creates new accounts to vandalise Evolution, Talk:Evolution, and/or user pages. Replaces text of the article, or user pages of people who revert his edits, with text from Genesis (eg diff). May be sockpuppets of User:Barbary lion. The first incident occurred February 5, 2007. Typical attacks happen in spurts, with a new sock deployed as the previous sock is blocked, and are conducted by usernames registered earlier to bypass semiprotection. Usernames are typically meaningless combinations of a few letters or short words, and are often created in batches. There have been over 200 confirmed socks and additional suspected socks.
Aside from the "Genesis" attacks, the user also blanks pages, replaces with other material (such as text from the Qu'ran), or adds {{humor}} tags.
Both the biblical and the koranic version of this vandal also appear to be active at EvoWiki a free wiki encyclopedia of evolution and biology written from a pro evolution point of view.--Fang 23 (talk) 02:47, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

This user believes that the inventor in the page Mousepad is incorrect, and is extremely abusive towards other editors when they revert changes as necessary. Currently, the main account is inactive and unblocked, however he utilized a dynamic IP Address in order to avoid blocks. Although he accuses others of pressing a point of view or deleting his content, he has never made an attempt to draw attention of other users (aside from abusive use of editing privilages that resulted vandalism reports from other users) or follow dispute resolution when made specific requests. Currently, both the mousepad and Talk:Mousepad are semi-protected to prevent violations of WP:NPA and WP:BLP
The user can be identified by a large series of edits in a row, by accusations of pushing conjecture or plagiarism, and by a specific link posted on Wikiepdia: http://www.priorartdatabase.com/IPCOM/000024222/ (and it's variant http://www.priorartdatabase.com/IPCOM/000024222). Edit summary on main articles is either blank or claims to be correcting content within Misplaced Pages. On talk pages, edit summaries may also be confrontational.
Edits from this user have spanned over a year on this issue, and have also been discussed at Wikipedia_talk:Administrator_intervention_against_vandalism/Archive_8#Mousepad_vandalism and on WP:ANI.

ClaimJumperPete
From WP:AN
An FYI. There's an odd persistent vandal, ClaimJumperPete (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and sockpuppets whose habit is to insert seemingly misguided "ant-vandalism" comments in random articles, using a highly stylized southern U.S. accent. He plays the "just trying to help" and "I don't understand why you don't like me" games, but has also started scoreboarding his vandalism (see Example 1, Example 2). I've asked for full protect on the user and user talk pages this vandal can edit, to stop the scoreboarding. I mention the guy here:
- to alert a wider range of admins, since he plays the naive user game very well
- to inquire if there's more that can be done
I'm not an admin and don't know all the tools you guys have for squashing vandalism. Studerby 19:56, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Modus operandi
The vandal creates accounts with the name "ClamJumper _" (a common name such as "Bob" or "Dan") and occasionally uses a different prefix such as "Whiskey" or "Cactus". He mainly vandalizes articles related to alcohol or the Old West (e.g. ghost town"; American Old West) by inserting messages similar to the following as embedded text:
- Howdy y'all, Claim Jumper Pete here. Jus' thought I'd stop by and tell ya not to vandalize this page, it just ain't right! Try to put somethin' nice, it works so much better, and y'all will feel all warm 'n fuzzy inside. Well, 'am done here, happy editin
The vandal also trolls user and user talk pages , always writing so as to create a strong Southern US dialect.--Avant Guard 21:02, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
The latest twist is adding the comments as hidden text e.g.
General threat
Another of his sockpuppets, User:GhostofPete, made the general threat in this edit:
It won't take ya long ta be figurin' this is yer ClaimJumperPete. n' I dun really care how fast yar gunna be choosin' ta report this account neither, but I gotta cupple uh werds for ya pal. I been noticin' yer takin' quite n' involvement revertin' my rosters, ya know i had to be takin' notice uh that. 'nother thing, it's kinda clear that ya got an interest 'n silencin' me. Perhaps ya might want to know what yer gonna be up against. Ya might be thinkin' dis is sum sorta game: yer bullet hit the mark. Jus' the other day me 'n a friend kicked it off the same time, he dern got 37 hits n' I got 31 before we were both cleared out. Soon enough yer gonna see a site such as CJP.suddenlaunch3.com or a better variant. A forum where I'll be roundin' up a posse of dudes I dun even be knowin' yet. Ya think 'am havin' a wild time doin' this? ya don't know the half of it. But y'all got a choice. ya can either get ma' account unblocked, and move yer merry way, er I can keep doin' this till the cows come home. Ya herd that clear: If ya unblock me, ClaimJumperPete, I'll never be makin' another edit again, 'n it'll be over. But if y'all shut me down again, it'll be back ta yer status quo right here. Otherwise 'am perfectly fine wit dis lil' charade, in all actuality. The ball's in yer court, pal. GhostOfPete 02:48, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Streatham and Clapham High School/Mary17x.x and UK IPs
A single user continues to heavily vandalize Streatham and Clapham High School. The text added always amounts to the same wording over its evolution, although the user has gone by various aliases in the past (currently Mary170.5, previously Mary170 (now banned), Mary17, and the UK-based IP addresses 86.147.235.127, 90.208.99.73). I have no connection to this school (I am a random US-based vandalism patroller), and have taken this page on as one of my pet projects, but I'm getting sick of repeatedly having to revert the same vandalism over and over. Something needs to be done to protect this page.
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to report this, but since this is repeated vandalism by the same person who has been warned many times and banned at least once, I'm putting it here. I'm not going to keep this on my watchlist much longer if some better protection can't be added.

User:Tweety21
- Tweety21 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
Tweety21 was banned (on Oct 11, 2007) and invoked the "right to vanish". The user wanted to delete any personal information which had surfaced due to the user's own careless editing habits (editing while not logged in but identifying as Tweety21, signing the user's real name, posting personal information (real or made up), etc.). At first Tweety21 used socks in an attempt to remove the content—by the end of the month, the office decided to humor the user (despite the "right to vanish" not usually being extented to banned users) and deleted or blanked the information. In early December, a checkuser request confirmed Tweety21 was back editing. Everything that had been blanked/deleted was reverted, as the user chose to not actually vanish. Since then Tweety21 has vandalized with socks and IPs (mostly talk pages of the user's other socks and IPs, the ban discussion, etc.); Tweety21 also posts complaints on Jimbo's talk page. It seems that as the blocks on IPs expire, the user returns to editing from them. The vast majority of Tweety21's IP edits have originated from London, Ontario.
Yamla is the admin who's dealt with this user the most and Guy has apparently taken over handling related OTRS tickets, of which there have been many. For an all-too-in-depth chronicling of Tweety21's Wikipedian exploits, see this page that was started in early October 2007.

LBHS Cheerleader
LBHS Cheerleader (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is a vandal who represents herself as a cheerleader at Lemon Bay High School. She often replaces entire articles with nonsense. Such behavior got her indefinitely blocked on January 28, 2008. It is the opinion of some Wikipedians that this is the same person as User:Ieattarponsforbreakfast, but others aren't so sure. She was reported to Yahoo on February 17, 2008 when she used one of Yahoo Japan's proxy servers to vandalize an article. It is my hypothesis that this is a person with mental illness, perhaps someone who was banned from a cheerleading squad, probably at Lemon Bay.
Modus operandi
She often replaces entire articles with statements such as Horray for Lemon Bay or random nonsense, usually relating to cheerleaders or Lemon Bay High School. She has been known to put such statements in foreign languages, but these are usually written in English. She sometimes inserts a link to the Lemon Bay High School homepage in unrelated articles.
Editing style
- She mainly targets articles relating to schools within Charlotte County, Florida.
- She particually targets Charlotte High School (Punta Gorda, Florida). She states that Charlotte High School cheats in sports and that Lemon Bay is better. In this article, she has also made randam attacks at the institution, adding completely random nonsense.
- She has also added Lemon Bay spam on other articles relating to schools in the Charlotte County district, such as Port Charlotte High School and Punta Gorda Middle School. She often replaces the entire article
- At least one school article effected, Venice High School (Florida), was not a Charlotte County school.
- She has also been known spam completely random articles, such as Macintosh. She often replaces the entire article.
- She sometimes begs someone to unblock her on the talk pages of her blocked user names. When such unblock requests are declined, she proceeds to try to make the Wiki administrators feel guilty by adding statements such as "You're mean". Such statements should always be ignored.
- She sometimes vandalizes articles in a way which supports the opposite point of view in what seems to be a poor attempt to offset her destructive nature.

User:Burgz33
This user has established a long term pattern of personal attacks, wikistalking, adding spam links, and in particular sockpuppet abuse to evade blocks. To date the user has created 16 sockpuppet accounts and vandalised articles, attacked other editors and even threatened legal action from 68 identified IP addresses (majority being AT&T from St.Louis) since December of 2006. This vandal has been the subject of numerous complaints see: . Generally the user vandalizes articles about hockey and hip hop. --Quartet 03:32, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Several admins have told you I don't vandalize, I'm just evading a block. Learn your facts, I dont even add spamlinks.
