John Aloisi is an Australian football striker.

He was the top scorer for the Australian football team at the 2005 Confederations Cup in Germany scoring 4 goals, 2 against Germany and 2 against Argentina - earning him the bronze shoe.

He signed a 2 year deal with Alaves in the Spanish Primera Liga in the summer of 2005, after a move to Panathinaikos collapsed. He moved on a free transfer from Osasuna where he played from 2001-2005. Previous clubs include Coventry City (Jan 1999-2001), Portsmouth F.C. (97-99), Cremonese (Nov 95-97), Royal Antwerp (93-95), Standard Liege (Dec 92-93) and Adelaide City.
