{{unblock|The block is insulting and disparaging to me. I am not uncivil or disruptive. There were no prospective grounds for the block. I believe my editing history shows the block was clearly unjustifiable, as were the other disparaging remarks left on my talk page}}

My policy is to explain my edits in the edit summary box, to finish explaining on the talk page if needed; if the edit is undone, rather than putting it back, to seek consensus on the user’s talk page, in case the user is a Bot or acting like one. My policy also includes reading the editor’s manual and moderation.
A dummy edit is a slight change in an article's wikitext that has no effect on the rendered page but allows you to save a useful edit summary. This is like a SMS (Short Message Service).
To make a "dummy edit" just make a slight non-rendering change to the page, fill out the edit summary with your short message including this tag: ] (include the four square brackets), and save your change. (Note that a null edit does not modify the wikitext and does not allow you to leave an edit summary.)
