My work

I am a historian focusing on international political economy. Since joining Misplaced Pages in 2002 I have written on a broad range of topics in modern history. Some of the articles that I have written have featured, such as Russian constitutional crisis of 1993, Origins of the American Civil War, History of Russia, History of post-Soviet Russia, and George F. Kennan. In recent weeks, I have focused on rewriting important entries suffering quality problems for years, including socialism, capitalism, state, and Cold War.

Resources

Online research, journals, academic periodicals, and sourcebooks

Some of the links below are helpful for finding references online. I'm also listing some journals found in JSTOR in particular that come with the benefit of free access.

I have nearly 4,000 pages on my watchlist. I don't have nearly enough time to address nearly all the problems I may spot on Misplaced Pages. For my own reference, below I'm listing various active contributors whom I've contacted over the course of the past three years, receiving constructive feedback on issues realated to the subjects I edit (history and politics) and/or important AfD/Cfd/TfD/etc. discussions. (Don't be offended if I forgot you! I only quickly skimmed my talk page to refresh my memory in drafting this list.)

After extensively probing your history, I hereby award you the Barnstar of Diligence. It is duly awarded for your precision contributions to Cold War-related articles, your dedication to methodological rigor, and your exceptional professionalism and level-headedness in the face of acrimonious disputes.
