Just delete the article then. If people can't protect articles about themselves or their products (and BTW, I didn't even create the article), then they shouldn't be there at all. I don't think that this page is really the place for the discussion, but it's my opinion that WP:RBI is more effective than WP:DENY by protection. --Onorem♠Dil 01:46, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

The same thing happened to Tomb of Antipope John XXIII when it was on the main page a few days ago. On that one, I tried RBI for about an hour with no effect, until another admin came along and protected it again, giving me a much-needed break. I don't like protecting articles on the main page, but there is really no alternative here. Good faith IPs and new users are screwed either way. If it's protected, they can't edit it; if it's not, it would be very difficult to edit it without constant edit conflicts due to the stream of vandalism and reverts. --Bongwarrior (talk) 01:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
